The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.

Commander-Frame system up and running
So we have the Commander system up and running after about a week of fighting with the power code. Turns out you can't have an upgrade trigger a unit spawn that swaps to a structure with a power, the spells won't work. Who knew?
But you can have that upgrade trigger a unit that has the powers itself, so units can have spells which is something I knew but forgot from years ago apparently lol (found the code buried in a very early version of the mod, post moddb days lol).
So the way it works is simple. There are 4 commander units that are very cheap for what they are and very strong, but limited to a max of 1 only. These commander units as they lvl up will activate the powers on the side that you see (I still have to fix their icons and stuff). The powers will grant the ability to swap frames on the units.
You get 30 seconds to choose a new frame if you wish then the powers disappear. Yes that means once a commander hits lvl 4 it won't be able to give upgrades any longer.
However the Leviathan doesn't need these requirements, every 2 minutes it will give you another 30 seconds to swap as you wish. So its just another reason you want to get the Leviathan built.
