INSTALL
I’m not a mod expert. I guess all you need to do is to put the map file “North.wmp” into the game folder “Maps”, the one with the 7 tutorial map files.
This is what I did (Steam version) and it works.

PLAY
Run the game > Main Menu > Single Player > Custom Map > Select “King in the North” from the map list > Play > Play
Original map settings recommended.

COMPATIBILITY
Compatibility with other Tzar mods: unknown.

APRIL FOOLS' DAY CONTEST

1 HUGE MAP. 10 QUESTS. 18 HEROES.
Gotta catch 'em all!

Eighteen unique units, named after famous Heroes from the Age of Heroes,
are scattered throughout the KitN mod map, triggered by certain events.

They are really powerful units and feature unique appearances (most of times).
Click on them before they die (or before they kill you first) to know their names.
They can be either friends or foes.

Brandon the Builder is one of them. You will make him King in the North.
But what about the other seventeen Heroes?
Go find them and, if you spot one, let me know in the comments!

Thank you Jim! If I had more spare time I would probably do a Dorne + Stormlands map with the desert assets that come with the game's editor. Something with dragons and Targaryens, perhaps...

Thank you! Let me know what you think about it and report any issue! I'm currently working on an update with fixes concerning bugs I found while testing the map again in these days. I hope to release it June 30, 2021 or so.
