The Great War mod is a total conversion modification for Napoleon: Total War. It creates an authentic representation of World War 1-era tactics, strategies and general warfare within the game. Including stunning new visuals that include entirely new models and textures for equipment, vehicles and more, the mod immerses you into the era with brand new gameplay unlike anything you've experienced in Total War before.

Russia actually has the most events like this out of every other faction. They will be effected by the turnip winter but also they have a long string of events involving all the drama that went on with Rasputin and Alexandra. Then there's both the February and October revolutions.

Playing Russia will be a wild ride.

Thank you for such events, I am a fan of the Russian Empire although it was such a terrible drama but your mod is very beautiful and historical.

Damn, when I wrote these events I had no idea they would have such impacts on the campaign! Those are huge! Good work as always, this team never ceases to surprise.

Description

Here is a look at a new scripted event for the Turnip Winter. This event is primarily for Germany and will slowly ramp up during the 6 turns of winter; reducing income and pop growth from farms while increasing winter attrition and slowing campaign movement. Sprinkled in will be single turns of unrest causing everything from worker strikes and letters of demand to riots and damaged buildings.

Other factions will be effected as well but to a lesser degree. These factions include Britain, France, Belgium, Austria Hungary and Russia.
