The Great War mod is a total conversion modification for Napoleon: Total War. It creates an authentic representation of World War 1-era tactics, strategies and general warfare within the game. So I just found the holy grail script Ive been needing but never able to find. While looking through random threads on TWC looking for scripting commands and such I found a script that causes a rebellion in a SPECIFIC REGION!
The best use case for this is the Irish rebellion. I also figured out a way to make different amounts of rebel units spawn on different turns so to start there can be a small rebel army spawn then next turn a larger army etc which wasnt possible with the current method I was using to spawn rebels.

It's amazing that after all these years, even BDIZZLE can learn something new about NTW scripts. Something tells me that the rebellion events are going to get a lot more interesting.
Every time I think there's nothing new I can do with the mod something like this happens. Finding this script was like finding a diamond in a pile of coal.

This is all it is and yet it completely changes how I can implement the collapse of Russia and Austria Hungary.

Will this possibly be used for other instances too, like the German and Russian revolutions and maybe even smaller ones like the 1917 French mutiny, Sidónio Pais' 1917 military insurrection against the Portugese government, and the declarations of independence and civil wars in Hungary, Finland and the Baltic states?
Absolutely, I'm completely overhauling how the revolutions work. That includes the Russian revolution, the German revolution and the Austro-Hungarian revolution. This will also improve the Biennio Rosso events in Italy starting in 1919.
The other ones you mention can't be done using this script. It doesn't work on faction capitals.
I have been following this mod for years and congrats on this huge find! Does this mean that the player could continue as the Russian empire against the Soviet rebels? OR the Russian Empire go Soviet and play as an emigrant White faction?
You will be able to resist the revolution and after about 6 or 7 turns the unrest in the capital will turn off. There won't be a way to play as white Russia in this campaign.
