The Great War mod is a total conversion modification for Napoleon: Total War. It creates an authentic representation of World War 1-era tactics, strategies and general warfare within the game. Including stunning new visuals that include entirely new models and textures for equipment, vehicles and more, the mod immerses you into the era with brand new gameplay unlike anything you've experienced in Total War before.
Here is a look at part of a small update we are working on. Most faction leaders now have historically accurate spouses or followers as well as new military orders. These military orders can also be earned by generals after winning battles. The update has been delayed due to a major breakthrough in fixing some glitches in the mod. More info soon.

Franz Joseph - his wife died years before the war so instead he has Karl the heir apparent
Mehmed - he didn't have a wife, he had a harem... so instead he has Enver who gives negative effects to the army, since Enver had a lot of power at the time
Nicholas - also has the heir apparent Alexei, the Tsarina shows up later with Rasputin to cause chaos in the government
