Sound Settings
Sound Variation - Set the sound variation to small
Sound Channels - Reduce the number of channels to 64 or even 32
Sound Caching - Check the box to turn this feature on
Memory - Increase to 300
Graphics Settings
HDR - disable this feature
Volumetric Effects - disable this feature
SSAO - disable this feature
Distortion Effects - disable this feature
Depth of Field - disable this feature
Try adjusting and disabling these features and settings and see if that reduces crashing in battles.

how do u disable ssao
Uncheck the box, if it will let you. Some are auto enabled and can't be turned off.

it still happens but im just able to fight longer gonna try something though
My game stops working after about 700 turns, don't know if theres a way to get around that but I would like too bc I managed to get to 1946
My game crashes when i am near a cannon of any type firing or the explosive landing. It doesnt always happen though, sometimes i am near a cannon to enjoy the view of it firing and another time my game crashes
