Talking about Mod of the Year, new patch and the future updates.

Avengers Assemble

Hey everyone!

As you may noticed, we finally uploaded new patch 2.0.1 few days ago! This patch fixed many errors, although not all of them. We will continue to catch and fix all bugs and errors that we will notice later. 2.0.1 is not the last set of fixes that we will release for the mod.

In this regard, We would like to present some kind of roadmap for the following patches, so that you understand what things we need to fix and to show that we take into account all the errors that you point out (we don’t consider ESO unit design as “error”, to be clear):

Firstly, in the near future we will be engaged in optimization of textures for settlements on a battle map. We have been repeatedly asked about this and we will finally do it. There is no guarantee that optimized textures will be included in the next patch, but we will try.

Secondly, our plans also include finalizing the balance both in battle and on the campaign map. Although with the help of the community (and several individuals) we managed to bring the balance into a more or less acceptable form, nevertheless it is far from ideal. Among the priority changes are improving the moral system, the cost of some units and buildings, as well as cooldown for hire. In general, we will work towards increasing the difficulty of the gameplay, although we are not going to make the mod too hardcore.

Thirdly, we will continue to catch bugs, and also plan to make a few more changes. For example, we have an idea to replace the sounds of units in battles with a more authentic ones. Also, we still keep in mind the idea of a small addon for the Third Era campaign, but we do not want to promise anything.

That's all for now. How can you help us? The best way is to tell us about bugs and tell TESTW to your friends who still don’t know about mod, and also vote for us in the ModDB contest - Mod of the Year. Just click on the Vote Now button at the top of our mod page. Your vote will be counted and, perhaps, will help us become one of the award winners!

This is the best mod ive ever played 10/10

But i don´t unterstand why the auxiliary infantry (with the skyrim skin) in the mod is worst than the light infantry eveb¿n if it harder and less common to obtain. I maybe asking for too much but if you choose to have the 4th era legion you will have a worst army overall. (Sorry for the bad english).

Why is there no family tree for the Cyrodilic Empire for the Third and Fourth Era campaigns? You can’t get more characters that way.

I assume it was removed because septim dynasty dies out during Oblvion scripts and it sometimes causes the faction to cease exist, because AI is too stupid to adopt new family members

"In general, we will work towards increasing the difficulty of the gameplay, although we are not going to make the mod too hardcore."

Maybe you could make the game more extreme in difficulty settings? IE. Easy is easier and hard is harder.

The AI spawning full stack army's at their bases in one turn or instantly when you attack is the reason 3 of my friends, my gf and I quit playing this mod. The AI cheats can be fun if you're going for a challenge, but a lot of people don't like the AI cheats (them insta-spawning full stacks).

Is there anyway this could be tied to a difficulty setting instead? Or is there another mod to remove it completely? This change would make the mod so much better imo.

There is a way to do it, I expect they will improve this in future versions.

You can try Unofficial Patch for TES TW, but it is not updated to 2.0 yet

Amazing mod. Thank you soo much. Very helpful during a quarantine.
Just my 2 cents. I don't think you should be able to recruit Dawnguard, Vampires, and Skaal outside their territory. It should be exclusive to their strongholds.
