Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.
A new mission-only naval unit.

The Government does not have enough resources for a full-on naval force, nor would investing in one be efficient in the big picture as they're not aspiring to be a world-class or even regional naval power. However, because the conflict zone still has some lakes and rivers, they figured they need to build some simple and inexpensive naval units which they can utilize when fighting over control of shorelines or large lakes.
One design to answer this call is the Naval Artillery. The Allied Frigates, with their missile launchers, are too costly and advanced for the Government to manufacture. But slapping a regular artillery turret on a boat is simple and practical, while still leading to deadly results when clearing shorelines of enemies.

Oooooh, Very nice, And fitting too. As without external aid it is likely the government forces would at most go for a Coastal Defense Naval doctrine.

Currently its weapon is otherwise identical to the regular Allied artillery, but has a small bit less range and less anti-ship damage for balance and gameplay design reasons.
