Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.

Looks and sounds promising. Personally you guys should make a video tutorial outta it. Documenting every aspect of your mission creation process and design. You did release such a Video once but it was a for MP map if memory serves me correct.

It is a bit harder to make such a video for missions. Often the first try doesn't yield satisfactory results in testing, which leads to further revisions, or in the worst case, parts of a mission have to be entirely re-made. In other words, the process of creating a mission is often not straightforward but can be more "messy" than you'd figure from the final result.

For example, for this mission I first fully created the map, but then found it too tight for satisfactory gameplay. To fix it I decided to extend the map to the south by a few dozen cells, making the starting area larger and less tight.

This also happens often with regular multiplayer maps, although over time and with more experience most of my latest designs have worked well right away, which made it possible to create the [4] Lakesides map and video in one go.

Ya. I get that. I built a Campaign for Red Alert 1 once. It ain't an easy task for sure. Well I was just curious. Perhaps you folks could write a scripting tutorial or release few snippet videos show casting how the scripting in your enhanced editor works and so on.

It might encourage people to send in more custom made SP missions to you.

Description

A new Nod co-op mission for the next update. Created by me (Rampastring).

The last few Covert Revolt missions have each had about 400 scripting elements (which is from 2x to 4x more than most missions created in the TS community), so I felt like creating something simpler for a change :')
