Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.

This map reminds me of that one map in Red Alert...I really didn't like that map because the bridges always died and than you had to go the long way around the island...

Personally, I don't like maps like these because of the absolutely-small chokes. With a few Artillery you could hold those bridges against ground forces for days...Or just get rid of them.

It also seems like it's massively promoting team play, which is nice. 2v2/3v3 never gets enough praise in any RTS game.

But the bottom line is, this is a huge turtle-fest map, and the only way I could see doing any kind of damage is if you send a Commando and attempt to blow up half of your opponents base with it...If you even can.

I would say Air is a thing, but I don't think you guys have added any new air units in the Enhanced gameplay, so there really isn't anything in that air that could break a GDI turtle, Nod might be a bit easier to break though.

Edit: I just realized there is the A-10, but that's also on GDI so that just makes it easier...

especially in enhanced mode it should be no problem at all to break through.
a) both sides have ships and the big ones have the longest ranges in the game
b) there are more sneaky units:
-Nod has the termite which can move under ground and surface in the middle of the enemy base
-GDI can use a helitrans+XO Powersuit combo protected by a good airstrike
c) both sides are quite well balanced (better than in TD itself), so even in classic mode it should be possible to break a good defense (e.g. artillery against mammoths, medium tanks against artillery)
d) there isn't a lot of tiberium it seems, so any critical/expensive loss can cost you the win

But yes, this map is better played in enhanced mode due to the additional tactics offered by ships and the new units.
