Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.

I still think the unit collision range should be extended as to promote realism, instead of seeing ships stacked on top of each other. This would also limit the amount of units able to spam/saturate an area with ordinance that gets rid of any advantage that area had to begin with. Still great mod, keep up the good work!

That's not possible to do in this engine. You would need to have access to the source code to change the unit's collision size.

Correct. If it would be possible to make the units occupy more than one cell, we would do it.

Multi-cell units complicate path-finding quite a bit, so there probably was a reason Westwood didn't add that. You may be able to hide it with terrain templates using larger cell sizes.

Ah, I see, good to know. You'd think since this game is quite old and released to the public, people would have access to the source code and be able to make those types of changes. Thank you for your responses.

Well, EA owns the source code so I wouldn't expect to ever get access to it. Their upper management isn't really known for being friendly to anything else than their shareholders, as you can see from the last attempts at making official C&C games.

Is black color selectable in skirmish?

No. Unless you're me, that is =P I've been thinking about enabling more colors for everyone, but I haven't got around to it yet.

Wow, I didn't know that aircraft carriers were technically possible. The unit artwork is pretty amazing as well.
