Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
This is the new mesh and textures for the Krayt class star destroyer. It is intended for the Zann Consortium and Mandolorians. The mesh was provided courtesy of the Empire at War Remaster - Studio Valkyrin (VI) project. This version is meant for the Sins engine and doesn't contain all the turrets that are included on the original version (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/L2N90A).
Even more excited for when we see these ingame. I've always been a fan of keel guns
Looks like it should have a UNSC designator :p
But I mean, I still love it.
Daaaamn that's a cool design
"Anybody need a really big gun?"
Who doesn't?
For anyone thinking it looks familiar but does not recognize the name, this is more commonly known as the Aggressor Star Destroyer, but in Interregnum its built by the Mandalorians, who called it the Krayt. Detailed lore is in this post. Moddb.com
any way we can get these bad bois : )
Yes.
Can't wait to see a remastered version of the Keldabe class...
wow guys, this one just has something that makes it pop. I can't put my finger on what but its got something special
Thanks. This is the first one I've done texture normal level wear on (around the edges of the plating). It's also using a new master Grunge effect that I created for one of the more recent Stargate meshes I did and it works really nicely here too. The base materials I used this time also had some wear effect pre-built in too, which isn't always the case as I often go with something a bit more baseline to build on instead. It also helped that I found some shots of a printed model that had hull plating much like this to serve as a blueprint and inspiration for the texture.
This is also the first mesh of Allan's that we've used. So it could be due in part to his style as well.
That's a great model, can't wait to see this beauty as part of my fleet! Just more fuel to the Zann Consortium hype!
"Response to being called"
