Description
This is the re-textured Corona class. A successor to the old EF76 Nebulon-B, it will serve as a frigate in the upcoming New Republic fleet.
this ship look's buffed XD
This version of it strikes me as a bit of an oddball. I've seen other versions that, in my opinion, look better but this was the mesh we had. To me it looks like it can't quite decide what ship it wants to be. I see shapes and elements that remind me of several other ships in Star Wars lore.
It does seem that way doesn't it? I'm not familiar with this class personally so I'm not sure how early on in the New Republic this ship is designed / implemented. I assume if it's early on as they're still establishing themselves the fleet would kind of accept most new designs regardless of refinement levels to establish a power base to defend against the Imperial Remnant.
But I do kinda like it, I mean it's a little bulk cruiser, dreadnought and a tad Nebulon etc. I think it's cool looking.
Both in the lore and mod it was one of the earlier New Republic specific ships built.

Probably not.
Great stuff. Really have to commend you guys for making the New Republic Fleet look worthy of being on the big screen out of the few napkin scribbles and drawings we got of a lot of the new class program ships.
