Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. It's going to be a bomber, so the damage types are more geared toward heavy armor targets. It will actually be less effective against small frigates as that is generally more the domain of fighters. Although that's just Sins mechanics as much as anything else.
So let's metaphorically agree this is a fighter after a good breakfast, ready for his heavy armored lunch :)
and if there's multiple they can eat capital ships at dinner like piranha's :)

I would've thought this might be the New Republic's equivalent to the Reb X4 and the Empire Skipray... Will there be a different ship that fills that roll for the NR faction?
That's what I initially wanted to do... but the K-wing is the only Alliance fighter in the mod without a hyperdrive in the lore. :-/ Quite unfortunate.
