With all the broken glass spread out along the hallway it will be impossible to sneak up on him during the night without him notising the loud cracks.
Yeah, this seems like a perfect place for the night.
Andriy estimates that the sun will warm his room with golden light for the next two hours before darkness takes over.
So it is time for him to celebrate a good day. He found clean water, a large box of matches along with 3 protein bars and some oil that will prove beneficial for his daily weapon routines.
No other Stalkers were observed today and no wild dogs attacked him out of psychotic rage like they did yesterday. A good day indeed.
Andriy patiently glances out one last time to make sure that noone is trailing his path to this place. The warm glow of the setting sun is such a beautiful sight that calms his nerves and raises his spirit.
Remind me why we are keep coming back to that MISERY where box of matches makes us happy.

You know what I miss in Stalker?
Mutants that crawl walls and hide in the corners of ceilings. Jumping at you when least expected. Crows that attack you from up above. 'Danger from above' that's what I miss. In these series we seldom have a reason to look up (or at least not for any dangers that is).
i miss the jump n climb function of some mutants :P if you get on a rock you are good for dayz :P
Maybe you could add this to a further version? That would be awwwssooommeeee!
I would like to see some monolith supermutants (fallout 3 supermutants not that green and not too big, litle bit more "realistic").

The zone is always fraught with danger. Will MISERY turn this at some point, making loneliness a reality? Not seeing another soul for days on end. Rarely being attacked by bandits or animals, but having barely enough ammo to survive? Making day-to-day life tough simply by reducing the number of enemies to loot?
I am patiently hopeful. :)
