Sweet idea! Considered trying to incorporate ammo clip belts? To limit how much ammo you can consider as having at the ready?
Guess that really isnt an issue with ammo weight but it's an idea.

If I drop my backpack to hastily get away from a group of bandits, can the bandits get my shotgun out of my backpack and use it against me?

Sounds great could have used it a couple of times when caught in an emission. Just wondering will the location of the QRS be marked on the pda/mini map? If not, it would stink to not be able to find it again and to loose all your stuff.

This is such a great idea. I don't know how many times I've been walking back to unload a bunch of stuff when a pack of dogs comes to ruin my day when I'm out of stamina...

Hmmm this will be an intresting system. Now here's where it leaves me with questions. One, does your ammo drop with the bag; and two do your medkits/bandages also drop with the bag? If they do that could prove to be problematic to use this system for anything other than running.

With the QR-Sistem if u drop everything and u are ready for fight and u have only the magazine with the 30 rounds or maybe more and if u remain without ammo on that weapon what do u do then ? Considering u have the rest of the ammo in your backpack ?
QRS does not drop the ammo stock for the gun you are using nor it does drop medicaments and other combat-oriented stuff. It supposed to make you combat-ready in situation in which you have a lot of loot in you backpack and need to get rid of it fast (so in most cases its used on trips back to base to sell all the **** you managed to gather).
Wheter its suits ones palystyle or not is of course depended on player - especially considering that you first need to purchase it from trader at hefty price.
Will other stalkers use this backpack aswell?
I mean, I love the idea, but seeing some other experienced stalkers using a similar looking backpack would be nice.
Especially since everyone in the zone is using the same backpack model in vanilla stalker.
Can I take cover behind it?
I read it is a disabled feature? I cant find it to be bought? how to enable?
