Hello,I bet there's a related topic but where we can post the list of annoying crashes and other stuff so we will inform the dev team about it?

P.S. Here's a list of the crashes :

-Consuming 'Mint Gum'.
-Talking to wounded stalkers(Neutral/Friendly).
-Browsing the upgrade tree for 'Browning Hi-Power' pistol at a technician - Fixed in 2.0.2
-Going from Zaton to Yanov crashes the game after the introduction Pilot gives you.(I have been reading about this one and it seems to be that Snag and/or Flint related quests trigger this crash. - The actual issue is the corruption caused by quicksaves.

The 'other stuff' :

-Vz.68 "Scorpion" 's animations are quite weird and jaggy.
-Running animation with handguns are weird, especially when holding a detector or any other thing that you can hold a pistol with. The Gsh-18 pistol is the pistol with the weird animations,my bad.
-The hand is a little far from the Stg-44's bolt in the bolt pull animation.
-The silencer of 5.56x45 calibre rifles cannot be fitted onto LR300 (atleast for the modern version, about the other versions I don't know yet.) - Fixed

The 5.56 NATO silencer issue was present in the old version too, and arises because the silencer type is incorrectly marked in the various weapon config files. It can be fixed yourself, but it is kind of a pain.

Two more things that I had forgotten to mention earlier:

-Noah's Pseudodog,Lassie had disappeared.
-Grouse's body is missing from the table he is on in the final part of the missing stalkers quest.

Aug 13 2013 Anchor

Grouses body is not missing by default, but I think it despawns. I made a thread about it, since it is a major issue for me.

Aug 13 2013 Anchor

Definitely the stability of savegames in Yanov. Either it crashes outright wie OutOfMemory, when you save or when you load as every save in Jupiter gets automatically corrupted.

The ACOG night vision scope lacks the proper description, and when you have one on a rifle and store the rifle it turns into a standard ACOG scope, turning a 10k scope into a 2k scope. When equipping an artifact, say the Fireball which says it offers the protection of 59 sheets of kevlar, your armor and rupture levels on the list in the inventory don't adjust, not sure if it is just an aesthetic issue. Trying to upgrade an exoskeleton to be more durable instead of weigh 10 kilos less will crash the game, forcing you into the weight reduction path.

Wow.... those bugs are huge!!! Devs really need to fix those!!

I'd say they're mostly just inconvenient but since this is a list of known issues I thought I'd mention them. Also the ACOG night vision being mounted and turning into a standard ACOG is an easy repro so hopefully won't be hard to address. Occasionally when someone is down in the state where they're prepared to surrender, sometimes they don't present the option to speak with them. Furthermore if you attempt to knife them rather than use a single shot to the head, they will get up with a super fast animation and shoot you in the face.

And I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this, it seems to me that sometimes the length of the downed/surrender state is much shorter than it seems like it is supposed to be. In the processing plant I had three people go down to headshots, and get back up before I had finished everyone off to start shooting at me again. Personally I think the surrender state should never be the outcome of a headshot, but my SKS was shooting a bit off that night (even though at the time I had the ACOG night vision scope) so maybe what I was taking to be headshots due to the immediate downed enemy were in fact off slightly. That being a possibility I guess they may never have been in the surrender state and just knocked to the ground.

And I'll wrap this up with two really annoying issues, one being that I have been the distance from the front waste processing plant door to the fence of the waste processing plant and had grenades hurled at me with pinpoint accuracy. The average soldier might be able to throw a grenade something like 40 meters, but I'd say that the distance from those two points is closer to twice that. And of course this one is a leftover from the engine itself, although it happens constantly in Misery. You save a game behind a wall around a corner and fifty meters from the enemy. You come out from behind the wall, line up your shot and get killed. Reload the game, and the enemy is now alert to your presence and possibly chucking grenades at your position before they have even seen you.

That's all I can think of for now, if I can think of anything else, especially with easy steps to repro I'll post it.

Well I haven't been able to do it. Mounted it on an M4A1, put the weapon in my stash, picked it up from the stash again and the ACOG still has nightvision. Also, it has the proper description for me.

Damn, how could I miss this one too?,The enemies do know where you are even if you're behind cover.
I've been experiencing this especially when I fought the Mercenaries in the Mercenary "Camp" where you have to bring data from there to Owl.

I'm bumping this for additional notes.

-That spray or whatever it is which is intended for smallbore rifles description is going off the screen borders in patch 2.0.1

-As Recon class, after starting the Transaction questline from Beard's side, saved games during and after this questline crashes the game.

Is there any hotfix for helping wounded stalkers? A Freedom stalker got gunned down by bandits, and I'm not sure if killing him would have repercussions down the road. If not, I'd actually rather kill him and get the loot from his previous encounter with another bandit party :D

EDIT: Yastiandrie helped me on the comments page, seems there is no hotfix available but the Misery team is working on it.

I actually may have made a breakthrough with wounded npc's but I need a savegame to test it...
If anyone has a saved game in front or close to a wounded stalker so I could test it could you please upload it somewhere then PM me the link please.
Also let me know what class you're playing

Bugs I encountered:
-wounded stalker crash bug
-mint gum crash bug

I also got the upgrade tree crash bug. But for me, when I try to upgrade my Obrez, it causes crash.
EDIT: Ok, so after playing round with it it seems it crashes when i mouse over the unavailable upgrade, or when trying to do the very first upgrade on the board. I downloaded the nokte's upgrade fix but it didn't stop this happening and didn't seem to change the Obrez at all even.

Edit2:
More bugs I've found
Grouse is missing from the table in vampire quest
controller is missing from his cave in zaton
the two stalkers at the fire anomaly in zaton were missing

Edit3:
More bugs-
Doing the chimera hunt in zaton, if another stalker party happens upon the chimera and kills it, you can't proceed.
At one point, i killed the chimera and then a pack of dogs attacked gonta and his party. they killed them all and ran away back to the skadovsk. I followed them there and talked to gonta and the game crashed. This was solved by killing the dogs first, then the chimera, and then immediately talking to gonta after killing it.

BIG bug with the cat mutants- I was at the scientist bunker,. and the scientist's stalker team was getting attacked by a horde of cats and just sat there getting attacked, screaming in pain but otherwise not reacting to them.

Regarding the achievements friend of duty/freedom, or man of balance

Normally selling both pdas to owl gives you the achievement. However you never get it.

Asking duty/freedom to guard the scientists and turning flint in to them.
They allow Strider to join either faction after that you unlock either Friend of Freedom/Duty.

However I didn't sell the pdas so I unlocked the duty achievement since I had no choice. After that I sold the pdas to Freedom and during the Warehouse mission I get a notification that the wind of freedom suit has placed in my box which can only happen if I get a friend of Freedom which causes my game to immediately to crash.

So I can unlock both friend achievements but not the man of balance achievement?
Seriously it forces you to choose between freedom or duty. :|

Too many/too accurate grenades on every single human enemy.

Aug 18 2013 Anchor

TT-33 Tokarev pistol has something bad with the reloading animation, the pistol's slide barely moves when you draw it back and in a delay.

The pinpoint accuracy of grenade tossers is damn annoying and no matter how great the distance is,they still score a critical and accurate toss.

Another issue, with AI is during the Dredge Station artifact search for Beard, after I found Tuna waiting for me outside,I shot him in the head which turns his ambushing allies into hostiles towards me(as supposed to be) but apparently the one that hides near the structure's stairs just walks by,like nothing had happened making the mission much much easier, especially when playing a class with Black Road,I did not experience this in 2.0,I think in 2.0.1 there was a change that made this happen.

Edit : There's also something I forgot to mention, the new added sound of Jets or whatever it is,is kinda unreal and annoying,it is 1 second long and it sounds like it is near you and not distant, sometimes I think its like somebody or something has teleported near me.

Fixing the ridiculous AI accuracy. They are sniping me from 150 yards with assault rifles its ruining the mod for me. Other than the stupid amount of difficulty not even realistic any more, I love it

Turn hardcore ai aim off in options or adjust the hit probability values yourself. Personally I like what they did with the ai

In 2.01 there is a crash when going to the scientist bunker.

The sights for the Galil and the FN Fal standard non paratrooper are all screwed up looking. The galil's rear sight has holes in it and you can barely even see the front post with the Fal. Also there is no upgrade tree for the Fal or the standard OTS Groza. When you reload or change magazines with the AKM the Magazine stays stationary within the magazine well and when he racks the charging handle that doesn't actually move either also when entering sights with the AKM the stock moves into your face causing you to see right through the weapon. These aren't really glitches just petty visual inconsistencies. It's just weird seeing some weapons function perfectly whilst others look like they are just untested barely finished models.

The kindergarten quest is broken for some you get a CTD when you talk to the guy in the fridge. I have heard that others get a crash as soon as they climb the ladder into pripyat however I have not experienced this. When you get psy blasted by a controller the camera gets flung about 20 miles away and stays there until you die occasionally this doesn't happen. Once I got psy blasted and then immediately loaded a previous save only to find that in my previous save the camera was still obscured as if I had been psy blasted. When you equip the steppe eagle you get a crash. I have heard that when you download the caliber fix mod it also doubles as a fix for this crash, but this is hearsay and I haven't tested it yet.

I have experienced a particularly odd crash when I killed a member of a bandit raiding party. I saved before I engaged them and when I killed this certain member of the party my game crashed. I didn't really think anything of it so I just proceeded to reload my save and then the crash repeated the second I plugged him. The next time I reloaded I just ran away and haven't encountered a similar crash like this since. I believe this particular crash is actually the source of the Monolith Gauss Preacher crash people are experiencing.

You have to save and reload, as for it being easily reproduced it doesn't matter much since it's a vanilla bug and was not introduced by Misery.

Fix the crash to desktop in kindergarten in Pripyat when you talk to the guy in a fridge
