I suck at commentary, just a video that includes the enb mod, and some other things i've been playing around with

This modification is made possible by Boris Vorontsov and his ENBSeries shader for many games,
in this case it's Stalker. If you want to find out more check out the ENB forums:

Enbseries.enbdev.com

The aim of this project is to provide the files and instruction on how to install and use the ENB shader
for any DX9 Stalker Installation (for now I can only confirm DX9 SHoC, CS, and CoP will come later)

The first release will be a configured preset that can be used with the Vanilla installation and any
mod installation that relies only on the /gamedata folder.

I will provide custom made enbpallettes with different styles once the base preset is uploaded, this
will allow you to have a different colour grading style.

Depth of Field can be enabled or disabled at will within the game, or you can disable it via the config,
Instructions will be provided.

I will encourage anyone who wants to configure their own personal preset they can have it uploaded
on this page with their name on it, just upload it somewhere and post in the comments with the request.

Installation:

Make sure Anisotropic Filtering is off in game, and also make sure Antialiasing is off too,
make sure these are not forced through your driver settings also.

Extract the contents of the base preset archive to your /bin folder
(I will be uploading sweetfx addons soon, track mod for more info)

Now you need to disable any r2 shaders, to do so check your gamedata folder,
If you have a shaders folder, open it, then backup and rename the "r2" folder
(rename it to r2_backup or something different)

Once you have done that ENB will now be enabled in game.

Configuration Notes:

Whilst in-game you can press Shift and Enter to configure ENB, here you can disable certain
features like Depth of Field or Bloom, and also change values.

or

Open the enbseries.ini under the /bin folder and you can configure options here manually.

These options control the main features of ENB:

code:
[EFFECT]

UseOriginalPostProcessing=false

UseOriginalObjectsProcessing=false

EnableBloom=true

EnableAdaptation=true

EnableDepthOfField=true

EnableSoftParticles=true

I'm getting this game breaking bug. I know it's directly related to the ENB addon. If I remove all ENB/SweetFX related files, or leave the Shaders file unchanged, the problem ceases. Though if I don't remove/rename the shaders file I lose all ENB effects and they're replaced with the original shader files, which, in my opinion, aren't that great. Not compared to the ENB addon. It has run perfect smooth up until this point. This crash occurs when I approach the Bandit base in Dark Valley.

FATAL ERROR

[error]Expression : fatal error

I've located the shadow_world file under the R2 folder. Of course for ENB to be enabled this folder has to be commented out. Any suggestions?

I posted this on the ZoA page as well. No answer yet from the.

Thats an old and odd bug that I found in various mods.
There seems to be an issue which some files of the level which was loaded.
Some mods modify levels and the "bug" comes up.

Sadly I never found out whats the exact problem, because I'm not that good in/at stalker modding.

For v1.0 I will have options for Lens flare, for now it will stay off.. due to some things im testing with the lens

If you want to do it yourself get the original enb files from the site, then replace it with my settings in enbseries.ini but make sure Lens is set to True
