Allows you to import some of your stuff from one save to another.
Description
Addon to import all gear, statistics, companions and import it into another save or new game.
MCM IS REQUIRED, get it here > > LINK < <
Feel free to modify and reupload.
Works like this:
1) load game from which you want to export
2) go to MCM and press "Export"
3) enable "Allow import" aswell
4) load another game or start new game
5) press on "Import keybind"
6) companions can bug out sometimes and don't become your companions, reload old save and try again from #1
7) if everything worked - disable "Allow import".
It's better if you keep same faction (not very important actually) and try to keep most of your addons that add new items as they were on previous save (kinda important if they were in your inventory or it's a gun on companion).
Things it transfers:
- money
- inventory items (including slots, belt and upgrades)
- companions (+ their weapons, outfits, names)
- PDA statistics ("days in zone" are set in MCM)
- your rank/reputation/goodwill, goodwill of other factions
- discovered map spots (white circles) and completed mechanic tool quests
- opened routes
- position
Condition on gear will be 100%, upgrades are not transfered;
Quests are not transfered (for obvious reasons);
Stashes are not transfered, companion items (except weapon) too, so grab everything you need before exporting (enable god mode in debug against overweight);
"Days in the zone" from statistics can't transfer aswell, added MCM option for that, once your current "Days" will be over 1 day - MCM days will be added to it.
Leave comments for addons that you'd like to be transfered too.

This was made as a workaround for our level addon, but I think it can be useful overall ;]
This will be so useful for mods that require a new game, or for current playtrough where you can't uninstall a mod without breaking the game.

This is not really that big, there are a lot of stuff that can be added for transfer, I just had a level ready and wanted to quickly make addon that transfer basic stuff only ;p
Would be nice if someone can modify it further.

its amazing to know that i wont be loosing all my progress when getting to a new game cause of one mod that decided to crash everything when removed, you are the best mate.
It's safe to disabled it on MO2 and use a savefile on which has already been used?
Yeah, the "export" button just writes info into axr_options.ltx and "import" read from it. Although, you can keep addon on and just disable "Allow import", this was made to disable addon if you accidentally press the button with stored info ;p
A very stupid question: If you start in the "survival" mode, where they will give us 3 companions, "save" and start a "new game +" again in the "survival" mode, then how many companions will there be in the end? Six?

Can artifacts be included in an import? Also Exohelm does not seem to be included.
Artefacts (even if on belt and in container) are transfered yes, they aren't for you? ;p

Im on gamma, none of my helmets seem to transfer over. Everything else seems to work perfectly tho!

Extremely awesome! The Inport/Export mod (Skyrim also has one) should be a number 1 core necessity for any moddable/replayable game.This is great to see it here.

So I can change my mod pack/mods/disable certain mods and then use this mod to import my old character save so I don't lose my stuff?
If that is the case this is amazing.
It only transfers items from mods that you still have active in the new run.
It can't transfer items from mods you have disabled, because they simply don't exist in the game anymore.
Correct, the goal of addon is to start new game with same set of addons, if you disable addons that add new items (and you had them in inventory) - game will most likely just crash on import. You can simply get rid of these items in your inventory and press export without them, then disable addon.

There is no "Upgrades" button on the MCM page, is this included by default
with the "Equipment" option?

Yes, it was logical to assume if someone wants equipment - they want their upgrades too ;]
I don't understand why? If there is such a need just drop the outfit/weapon and spawn a new one without upgrades.
A heads-up for the users of this add-on that also use GAMMA.
Uninstall all attachments from all the weapons you want to carry over to your new game.
Currently, v0.3 doesn't transfer all your installed attachments, suppressors are the ones affected the most.
I can actually do a NG+ by having some of the stuff from the older NG without breaking the next cycle.
idk why but my companions are not transported.... I tried several times but it didn't worked
Worked for me in 9/10, especially if I have default amount of them 2-4. Do you happen to have 20 of them? xd Coz I only tested with vanilla values.

Same here no companion transferring I only have one and I've got kinda attached to him.
This mod is seriously the most amazing and needed!!! been getting engine crashes going into a certain level because some bone_1, t pose guy probably. 130hr game and didn't really want to start fresh again. But now I can go everywhere and I have everything except that companion.
I think the issue might be that he is a story npc for some reason even though the task isn't available anymore bummer.
Something in axr_beh.script/xr_companion.script/beh_compantion.ltx or through debug logic I imagine. I will have to research and figure out what commands or script change I need to change from story to normal companion if anyone knows please let me know!
Ah, yes. I thought this is as obvious as not transfering quest lines ;p Else you can import 50 Streloks between different games (game probably gonna crash on second already xd).
hahaha I couldn't remember where I got him from. -dbgdev found he is a hostage task from like 60hrs ago. I think I reset tasks so he doesn't have a release task id anymore. I'm gonna play around with unpacked DB scripts and see if I can force a state change on him, it's worth a try or I'll have to learn my way around the sdk better or xrSpawner_v0.13.1Beta idk maybe all.spawn holds the answer if I can import/modify my current save db somehow.Anyways thanks again
all.spawn only contains objects that spawn on new game (+vertices and some other stuff). Yours is probably just a unique story squad, like Strelok or Hip, I don't think there is a way to make him a regular simulation npc.

There are so many skill addons now, I don't know if I'll be able to make a patch for all of them.
Hey I was messing with the RPG Skills System Mod and was wondering if instead of importing the perks you could use the actor_level value and export its value to the new game into actor_skillpoints?
Not really sure how to write the import/export function for actor_level however.
