Hi there!
I have a very strange problem with the Enhanced Edition. Somehow any mod I install (And I know about APPDATA) just won't launch, even though it shows up in 'modifications' tab. Whenever I choose a custom mission the Game just loads the original mission with nothing modified (or NEARLY nothing.
In case with 'Rewire' - it launches Original with a new Music).
Moreover, if I exit SSEE without setting the mission back to 'Citadel' - then I can't relaunch the Game. It gives some 'Resource 086C not loaded' error. So I have to change manually the kexengine.cfg (set 'seta mission' to "archive") just to launch the Game.
What am I doing wrong?

This is very well made, but I'm finding it impossible to complete. I'm at the very end when you fight SHODAN and I flat out cannot kill her no matter what I do. I have Pulser v7 and Shield v7, deploy a decoy to prevent the enemies from firing on me and just fire on her and she kills me within 10 seconds. I tried killing the enemies flanking her first but I cannot get to the 2nd one before she overtakes me. Is there some sort of trigger that slows down how fast she kills you?

For reference, the fight in this video, she takes about 3x as long to kill the player compared to what I am experiencing:

3RDplayer, have you ever had a case where the updated System Shock Enhanced port doesn't read mods? I put the rewired folder into the res/mission folder, and it doesn't show up on the list of missions at all. I tried this with Ruby Station, and it doesn't read it either. Could there be some bug that prevents mods from being read? I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and I've moved the correct folder to the correct place, but it still doesn't show the mod at all. It seems like a rather strange and stubborn problem to exist in a port that's supposed to support mods. Could it be a configuration problem?

I'm enjoying the mod so far, but I've run into a cyberspace bug on Level 3. After using the second terminal in the room you unlock in the first terminal, opening the door in the second terminal's cyberspace section will crash the game whenever you try to exit, whether you use the escape portal or get killed by the defences. I can leave if I just grab the data and then go to the portal, but shooting the arrow and opening the door makes the game crash everytime I try leaving.

That is a weird bug. Please make savegames and send them to my email address found in the readme file, explain the problem again and I will take a look into it. Thanks.
But it could always be that the savegame is corrupted in a unpredictable way. Try loading an older savegame and see if the problem persists.

I couldn't seem to get this to work in my Enhanced Edition install no matter what I tried. Tried extracting the contents of the "rewired" folder, placing the "rewired" folder in \missions, placing the whole zip in /missions, even renaming \missions to \mission like the instructions indicated it was, nothing seemed to work...

You have to drag and drop the folder rewired into \missions
NOT the content inside that folder
NOT the whole zip file
If you still use the old enhanced edition without the sourceport update
then you have to follow package A instructions.

Rewired is crashing for me when im trying to destroy a robot in a R1 level after i destroy security generators. Any idea how to fix this?

Right now its adviced to have multiple savegames of course when something like this happens. The savegame might be corrupted or something else out of my control happened. Updating such bugs will require to update the rewired.dat, which would make your savegames incompatible anyway.

I will see to upload a separate update for ReWired that fixes some of the AI's that cause trouble for the player. For now, I can't do anything for you about it.
