Spanish Inquisition mod for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

The first ever mod for modern Assassin's Creed is finally here!
Play as a Spanish soldier sailing the West Indies, clashing with the stubborn British, fearsome Pirates, and even fellow Spanish Privateers!

This mod was made possible thanks to michalss over on Xentax Forums, who made a tool that can unpack and repack the game's .forge files.

However, there's no tools to actually edit the unpacked files, so all mods must be done with manual hex editing. As you can see this is incredibly difficult and very limited in what is possible to do.
I urge you, spread the word, and if you know anyone who is interested in Assassin's Creed and file formats reversing, ask them if they'd be willing to help!

FAQs:

- Why do I crash?
The game always unexplicably crashes whenever you try to enter/exit a major area like Havana, Nassau, Kingston, etc. Uninstall the mod, fast travel, then quit and reinstall.

- Why is his shirt white?
The file only contains materials for his pants. I can't change that because likie I said there's no actual tools to edit the files themselves.

- What are those things on his arms?
Part of his original arms. I couldn't figure out how to remove them without the game crashing.

- Why is his body so low poly?
If I used the high poly LOD 0 mesh, all the enemy soldiers would go white when you got close to them, making combat confusing.

- Why do the crewmen sometimes go back to normal?
A model file can only be reused once, and the Spanish have only LOD 0s available, so at further distances the crewmen use their unedited LOD files.

- Why is my flag white?
I tried my best, but the Jackdaw's Pirate and Assassin flags use a special kind of texture that can't be edited without instant crashing.

- Why do the Spanish still attack me?
This is only a modelswap mod, so the AI still see you as a pirate. I can't change that because again, there's no actual tools to properly edit the files.
