Ayo lowkey love this custom story! I am already up to chapter 5 i'm pretty sure and so far its been great. The voice acting is quite interesting in its unique way, but either way it is really good. You should make more like this one please!!!!
Glad you're enjoying it
I do like helping other people with their mods, but I'm not working on my own mod for now. I'm studying game development, so most of my time goes into making games instead. But, there's one game that may have some references to my old mods, such as this one ;)
Pretty good - 8/10. Full walkthrough (English version):
There is a sharp drop in fps in the second chapter in the mansion(lags).Maybe it's the rain. I am annoyed by the passage of this mod. dear developer, if you fix this problem, then please write about it. I'll try to play again.
I don't think you should make the player touch something on the table and be moved to another location. The mod becomes unrealistic
I'm not sure what you mean with "touch something on the table and be moved to another location. The mod becomes unrealistic"
I'm not going for realism here. The entire mod is full of magic, the unnatural etc. It's not a realistic mod by any means. What I am going for is believability, but is it really unbelievable for objects to have teleportation powers in a world full of magic and unnatural beings?
As for the lag, it hasn't been reported much at all during the 5+ years this mod has been released. It doesn't lag for me and for most people. For me, it only does if a mod heavily overuse particle effects. Looking at your comment history and reviews, lag seems to be something you often have issues with. Perhaps your PC is outdated? In any case, there's not going to be any fixes to individual issues unless it's playerwide (a lot of people have this issue).
I find it odd how you gave this 10/10 and said it's one of the best mods you have ever played, then you drop it to 4/10 a day later because one area of chapter 2 lags for you and one thing is "unrealistic" in this mod that doesn't care for realism. You are of course allowed to rate it what ever you want, but I always recommend anyone to play it through first before giving any mod a rating
at the end of the first Chapter, the player touches the table with his hand and teleports to the courtyard of the milestone mansion. Is this magic in your opinion? Usually in games the player needs to stand at a certain place to teleport.
As for lags in the game, you, as a developer, can do what you want. But it would be fair of you to write, that the system requirements of your mod are higher than in the original game. I and other players with weak video cards would not play it. Pay attention to the honesty of the mod developer (Amnesia: The Dark Descent - Remastered)! Нis mod is demanding and the developer wrote the players about it in the description. For me and other players, the original game goes without lags and we have the right to expect developers to create the same mods with a stable fps of 60 frames.
as for my assessment of this mod, I was wrong, although it was interesting at first.
When people make mods they do not think what this Gadavre guy will say about the FPS. You have no option but to get a better PC. Modders will not be limiting their potential just because you do not have specs good enough.
"at the end of the first Chapter, the player touches the table with his hand and teleports to the courtyard of the milestone mansion. Is this magic in your opinion? Usually in games the player needs to stand at a certain place to teleport."
What are you talking about?
When you find enough clues (one of them is on the table), chapter one ends and the next begins. You aren't "teleported". Next chapter starts with some time passing in between.
It doesn't require anything higher than normal far as I know. If it happens only sometimes it's one thing, but if it happens as often for you as it seems, you may want to see if the issue is on your end. Maybe your PC Ram is not up to date. Again, this issue is very rarely reported during the 5-6 years the mod has been out, so it's not a big concern of mine.
"as for my assessment of this mod, I was wrong. I didn't enjoy your mod. although it was interesting at first."
That's why I recommend waiting to rate until you have played through the entire mod first
Crashing after getting the items in laboratory...
It has been fixed. Download latest version and reload a map before that one
