Stragglers are Kato miners affected from exposure to the element and thus have a damaged mental state and deranged personalities.
Short but intense mission in slums/canals filled with stragglers. I recommend playing it on HARD setting.

Playing on Hard I find sniping everyone with the pistol is the surest way to survive. The plasma (?) grenade looks pretty cool and has a nice area of affect. For some reason it looks like the demo is lagging a bit on my end. As far as I know I did not have any programs running in the back ground.
The best way to describe it is it looks like with every step it is like a tic in seconds or something. It's not like playing on an online game and you experience lag or a game and you experience a drop in frame rate with a lot of action. I could just be walking and noticing it. Much like I describe from your other Shogo mod at the start and going up the small incline, it is just noticeably "dragging" I guess is a good term to use.
Anyway as I started another game of the other, before you even get into your robo suit, you pass some tanks. It would be nice to be able to drive those in a particular mission or in fact choose what you want to go in or nothing at all. There should be risks and rewards or at least advantages.
And ever thought of making this an online team based game? You get to choose what armoured soldier you place as and choose what vehicle you can control and go from there.

I tested it and a for a little demo, it's pretty good! Graphics are well-remade, sounds are, too (well the ennemy sounds are not the same but It's just me, I miss the good death sound from shogo xd) and the level design was identical... maybe a little too much, I found a certain lack of detail, well since in shogo it wasn't really detailled and since the level design was great it's not a big problem, but you should add a little more details.
Oh and even in normal difficulty it was kind of hard, but it's fine, the game was very hard at some points too! (thanks to the goodnbad AI of all Monolith's games from this time)
It was very good, I can't wait to see the entire mod when it wiil be released!

I own Shogo M.A.D game from which i'd borrowed textures, story background and sounds.
Most models i did by myself using resources from internet.
