Protagonist:
John White is an ex-military and scientist. He was working with the new HWMS (Hazardous and Weapon Management Suit), in the Sector A of Black Mesa. This suit let the user get up to 150 battery and carry a little more of ammo.
History:
After the "resonance cascade", the H.E.C.U spread to almost all the sector of Black Mesa.
The sector A was the most closest to the surface, that's why our protagonist manage to escape so easily.
John White escaped in a car, but he stopped in a storage facility of Black mesa. He destroy a vent to find supplies, but he find himself trapped in that supply room. The only way to escape is crossing all the F,G,H sectors of Black Mesa to the principal entrance.

Well, it's been a long time. But finally is here, SID is finished and i'm going to release, the full version of 9 MB, on christmas as a gift to the Half-Life community.

Whens the Full game out Loved the demo
This mod is looking really good and I can't wait to play it. I love when mods add a bit of story to make them more than just map packs. I'm not exactly sure how the story works here, however. You say that the protagonist escaped Black Mesa and drove for a week before stumbling upon a new area, but just about everything in these images looks like it's still in Black Mesa.
I know adding custom assets is a pain in the ***, but wouldn't it make more sense to just set the mod in the edges of Black Mesa? Instead, perhaps the protagonist was trying to escape Black Mesa in a car but it gets shot up before he can leave the facility, and now he's back in the fray in the outskirts of the facility during the final hours before the nuke drops.
I'm not trying to sound rude, just a suggestion. As I said, this mod looks really good regardless and the fact that it has some backstory at all is a huge positive in my book.
The story may seem a little confusing at first. The story goes like this:
You're an scientist and a ex-soldier from the H.E.C.U. Black mesa is supposed to be a huge, HUGE underground facility. That's why even in the surface is hard to evade the multiples warehouses and entrances to other sectors... Our protagonist ends into a warehouse that leds to the sector F.
Also our protagonist escaped from the sector A, the most far away sector from Mexico or Texas and also the closest to the surface.
soo basically hes stupid and got traped and now have to go all the way up to the main entrance again? XD
