Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
The Tu-160 is the primary strategic bomber of the Russian Federation. Originally developed during the late period of the Cold War, introduced after the turn of the millennium and mass-produced by a total number of one hundred during the presidency of Nikolai Suvorov, the 'White Swan' or 'Blackjack', as it is known by Russia and former NATO respectively, can carry over forty tons of ordnance. It is the largest supersonic combat plane in the world and the internal bay of the improved M-variant has been refitted to deliver the infamous 'Father Of All Bomb' thermobaric warhead, whose destructive power rivals that of a small tactical nuclear weapon without any fallout of both the radioactive and the political kind. With its extensive range, massive payload capability and elegant appearance, the Tu-160M marks the very pinnacle of Russian aerospace engineering. As of 2038, a civilian passenger version of the plane has entered service with the Russian state airline company, providing a comfortable high-speed connection between the major cities of Russia, Europe and even across the Pacific until the outbreak of the Third World War.

Really? The only thing they did to Russia was to abandon them in Africa, and that was only General Wolfgang disobeying orders. They helped Russia get back on their feat by buying their resources, but then didn't need them anymore when the ECA got their Solaris satellites in orbit. The wildfires of 2044 was blamed on Solaris satellites, which they obviously didn't use, so I would say WWIII = Russia's fault.

According to my knowledge of RotR lore (no I did not neg karma you) Europe were stressing ties with Russia already after the whole Solaris set up and the cutting of the energy trade between the two. Their move of incompetence (no matter who it was who actually gave the order) in Africa clearly put Russian resource assets at risk (we're talking probable millions). The wildfires destroying the crops would of been the last nail in the proverbial coffin for Russia's economy. Obviously Suvorov used the wildfires as a political maneuver to gear the country into action against the newly formed ECA. Russia officially started WW3, but I think it was more of a case of striking first. If there's going to be a fight make sure you're the one that throws the first punch so to speak.

Russia's economy was boosted by the ECA and did not plummet because they cut off the trade. It diminished after they received heavy losses in Africa and lost those territories, which was caused by the Global Liberation Army. The ECA were not interested in helping them, as it was just Wolfgang who moved out but his second-in-command if I'm not mistaken arrested him before he got to the Russian territories. Russia "brought it upon themselves", and blaming Europe for the wildfires was just a ****-move. The Russians orchestrated a false-flag attack just so they could invade Europe, so I think WW3 was more Russia's fault than Europe's.
The only thing false-flag about Russia's invasion was the blaming of the wildfires on the ECA's Solaris Relay. The fact that the ECA did indeed weaponize the Solaris system doesn't help matters at all, as it shows Europe wasn't just investing in alternative energy but also in a form of a weaponized space platform. Although I don't think it would be illegal according to the Outer Space Treaty, as that basically only covers WMDs. The ECA left Russia to the GLA in Africa, no matter how you look at it that's what it comes down to and that sort of thing does horrible things to diplomacy.
I think that you should read this update here: Moddb.com there was a false-flag attack that was planned by President Suvorov and carried out by General Alekandr and that is what kicked of WW3
I did forget about that. My lore knowledge is stemmed from memory only. Like I said with the wildfires though, that was probably more to do with Suvorov performing a political maneuver to gain traction in the Duma and with the Russian people. Deception yes, but hey, it's politics, since when is it about anything else.

They weaponized it AFTER the Russian invasion, just like the Pandora and Venom suits were weaponized just because of desperate measures. And the ECA probably had their own problems with the GLA, as did China and America, so they couldn't help Russia.
You should read the lore more, because the ECA did not buy resources for Russia after their African defeat. Solaris satellites up and ready = "We don't need your natural resources, go away Russia." So you are trying to say cutting off trade lines is good for Russia? It is not in any way. It strained their diplomatic relationships and damaged the Russian economy. The SAP provided Russia resources, NOT the ECA.
