Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Iron Man 3 suits? Yes definitely. (They nerfed his tech so bad in that movie, I hated it)

Iron Man 2/Avenger suit? Probably not seeming as Mr. Stark would be like an incredibly hard hitting bouncing flea to these guys.

I am not sure. While these guys have bigger ordnance than Iron Man, he got smaller but still potent repulsor beamers, cutting lasers and missile launchers, and as he is smaller, he is also far more faster and maneuverable than these. In close quarters he can quickly get to their rear and fire repulsors into Venom's back.

Actually, since the story is set in the 2040s, ALL global superpowers are already interested in the Moon. There's actually a canon-approved fan-fic out there which states that the Chinese (and IIRC the Americans) have already established their own outposts and it'd be logical for Russia and Europe to follow suit, which they can't because, well, WW3.

Russia: Da comrades we get new Arms Dealer truck.

ECA: Power Armour bitches!

But seriously though, the ECA is starting to look pretty unbeatable. I'm looking forward to seeing Russia's response to these new threats.

The Venom doesn't make the ECA any more 'unbeatable' than it was before. Manticores and Pandoras are getting some extra content to make all three protocols equally interesting but at the end of the day, you can only choose one. The Venom can be killed by the concentrated application of anti-tank weaponry and strike aircraft still take it out fairly easily despite the Viking variant having anti-air missiles, as does massed artillery fire and, well, Topols if all else fails; and unlike those Venoms, you can build as many aircraft, Topols, heavy artillery units and AT troopers as you like at any time.

You want to make then more equal? could you make Manticore Nanoshock Absorvers and Hydrogen Fuel Cells or at least the fuel cells able to more units like:
Mortar Tracks
Wotan Arrays
Manticore itself

I'm pretty sure Manty already gets both of those in its base design. They pretty much don't make sense otherwise.
And it would be kind of boring. I'm betting the team has something better planned.

I feel these units will be too overpowered, I mean how can the other factions cope up with this specially the Russian faction that is supposed to be the Counter of ECA also knowing that the Sentinel is incredibly slow it might be pointless to use the comon stemroller strategy against this.
just saying my concerns.

Like I said above, despite the Viking having AA missiles, aircraft and gunships are still the most reliable counter against Venoms.

And I guess Su-50 "Sokol" (which I can't stop on calling "Nochnoi Yastreb") are gonna be their hardcounters, due to being stealthed and havind AT-dedicated weaponry.

I agree, ECA has absolutely no weaknesses at this point, they were supposed to be the turtle faction but now they also beat the Russians and Chinese at head on attack and the US and GLA at mobility.

China and US in particular have absolutely nothing going for them that other factions cant do better.

All they need to do now is to reverse-engineer the Shock Trooper's Gyrojet rifle and some one to start claiming that he's the god emperor of mankind.

Can't wait for the update to explain the current situation of the war that warrant the deployment of these machines :)

Hind also is mostly useless against armor. Justified as that nose gun is just .50cal and those rockets are HE, not AT.

Description

Fielded relatively late in the war, the Venom is a prototype powered armour which significantly increases the strength, speed and durability of its human operator. Originally designed as a revolutionary hazardous environment suit for ESA astronauts in preparation of a future European colony on the Moon, the military model was significantly enlarged in order to accommodate for several dense layers of hardened composite armour as well as an assortment of heavy weapons. For added mobility, the suit comes equipped with a set of boosters that are strong enough to provide aerodynamic lift within atmospheric conditions, allowing the operator close a considerable distance with a rocket-assisted jump. The few Russian survivors that lived to tell their stories described the Venom as an unstoppable juggernaut, a machine of sheer terror that even surpassed the Shock Troopers due to its imposing, inhuman physique and overwhelming firepower. As a result, Russian propagandists have spread slanderous rumours which painted the Venoms as soulless cyborgs, bio-mechanical abomination who had been subjected to genetic manipulations and forced limb amputations by sinister European scientists in an effort to create the ultimate killer. Contrary to these baseless claims, the Venom suits are operated by healthy, fully conscious human volunteers. Whilst many of the Venom's internal workings remain a well-preserved secret, it is speculated that the operator resides in an internal suspension pod while controlling the machine through a sophisticated neural interface, allowing the mechanical limbs of the suit can be manipulated through natural brain impulses as if they were part of the operator's own body. Similar albeit noticeably less refined versions of this technology are already used as a modern alternative to wheelchairs and limb prostheses around the world whilst some of the Nordic European states even sponsor these medical exo-skeletons as part of their elaborate healthcare systems.
