-INSTRUCTIONS: save the folder, i.e. click the download button on the mod.
Once downloaded, Extract all files to your Red Alert 2 game folder (also known as 'directory'). You may want to make a duplicate copy of your original directory, that way you would still have the original version of your game (with all your original save games) left untouched. In order to extract the mod, you may need to download some sort of File Extractor from the internet (of which there are multiple for free).
After you extract the downloaded mod files to your chosen game directory, sort files by 'type', then select all 'applications' files one by one, right click, go to properties, go to compatibility, and set to run compatibility mode for Windows XP service pack 3, or preferably Windows 7 (But Not higher than 7 for technical issues related to Windows). Also set 'Run As Administrator'. Do this for all file type 'application', as well as 'Syringe'.
Now Launch the game using 'RunAres' (you may want to create a shortcut on your desktop).
Essentially that's it, however your computer/firewall/antivirus software may not recognise the game files, so you may need to allow/make exceptions on any security software you may have. In order to do this, simply go into your antivirus program, and find out where you can specify exceptions, then list all application-type files from the directory there. For example for windows firewall simply type windows firewall exceptions into your start menu search bar.
After this you should run the game a couple of times, it is normal for the game to be closed by your computer with an annoying 1st-time notice asking you to allow the game permissions etc., in which case you obviously need to check the tickboxes and click 'OK'. Once that is done, you should never be asked to do so again.

Bear in mind, this video/tutorial Assumes you have already properly installed the standard version of Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge; which you must of course do First, as well as downloading and installing the Official updates for Red Alert 2, and Yuri's revenge respectively.
There are various open sources online that can guide you through installing the standard game, including videos.

I have never played the game online, only campaign, skirmish, and LAN via internet, however I believe it's just a case of contacting the guys at cncnet to get the mod set up on there for online use. I did message them before but heard nothing back (I presume they are busy), but you may feel free to contact them to request this mod be added?

Can you give more details? Did you have the standard version of the game working, and if so, which version? And have you downloaded the necessary official patches?

after i open the "RunAres.bat" it says that "this yuris revenge only supports online play using cncnet 5)then the window close.
By nature of the message, it is suggesting something specifically wrong with your version of Yuri's Revenge. Has your standard (unmodded) version of the game run okay offline? Or only on specific modes? It is strange that it would Only be configured to run via cncnet (the online platform). I have not yet recieved a response from cncnet to activate this mod on cncnet for online play, however I heard that anyone can contact cncnet on behalf of any mod, to get it added there.
My personal recommendation is for you to do a fresh reinstallation of your game (from disk, or Origin, wherever your original copy is), as by sound of that message, it is currently missing something, and I haven't known anybody else to have that problem.
There is One 3rd party application I have found that causes compatibility issues. Those of you who may happen to have Iobit's Advanced System Care, I would recommend uninstalling it, as I've found it causes issues with running the game. Other Iobit applications I have tested seem to cause no problems, but beware of using that particular one.

To answer, it doesn't particularly matter where you have installed your game in my experience. You may even have more than one game directory (even of the same game), what is important is that you place the mod in the directory You intend it for. From that, when you use any created shorcuts to launch the game, it will refer to that correct directory (just follow the video tutorial for reference).
If you have any further difficulties, just let me know.
Para responder, no importa en particular dónde haya instalado su juego en mi experiencia.
