ok thanks feel like a right tw*t now haha my eyes was seeing i had right patch when i dint XC
Well anyway ... enjoy
i got a 1.05 patch is that good too?
Untested. Very likely not as patches tend to make mods incompatible.
form what I've gotten to play I really do love your mod, but it keeps crashing on me, I've done every thing I suppose to, Patch v1.053, I turned off everything (Optional Settings) and made sure everything on high/highest, idk what to do now some help would be appreciated. Keep up the great work
Turn the 'bump' (in the graphics settings) down to low. The majority of mini-dumps are caused by using 2GB of RAM (Sins is a 32 bit program) - and textures use a lot of RAM.
What's your PC specs ... CPU, RAM, Video, OS?
AMD A4-3300m APU with Radeon(tm)HD
Graphics 1.90 Ghz
4.00GB
64-bit operating system
Did turning down the 'bump' help?
You haven't got a dedicated graphics card on your PC (laptop)?
It just took a lot longer to crash, as far as I know I don't not (sisters laptop) and she mainly got it for school
Hi RC-9219,
A 'DirectX 9 3D Video Card' is the minimum spec for playing Sins. However some have run Sins with Integrated Graphics with mixed results. For example, one chap noticed that textures for Maelstrom were not displaying correctly until he bought a dedicated card. Other have noticed speed issues, or random crashes. Of course some are fine.
However, you said it 'takes longer to crash' by turning the effects down. My suggestion is you start with the default graphic setting of Sins (there is a reset button in the menu, just hit it). See how you go. If you still have problems just keep on reducing the effects.
alright, thank you every much for your time and help, appreciate it.
No problems and good luck ... hope you can get it more stable.
