Interesting that it also could fit in the game despite it being such a dark game with depressing colors.
Clearly that doesn't always have to be the case some nice views here and there could really make this world look more alive than abandoned.

It's just an experiment. Im still working on a graphics:). I like x-ray cause it's very 'friendly', it shows the things how i want it to be, without tons of automatic post-effects, color-gradings etc.. like in modern games. However we will have some too;)

Yes! We need colours in STALKER. I've played those grey/brown/black desaturated visuals mods, and they get rather monotonous after a while. Having some more variation in terms of colour palette is great, all within reason of course. This is STALKER, so authentic visuals should be the first priority, not tacky console game graphics. :)

This title had me thinking (Although it will just be a thought left to die alone in a dark corner), and dreaming, about visiting some entirely new areas not directly related to LA (Or any official game for that matter)that the player could discover and explore. New quests and locations, new ways of expanding (Or explaining) the lore, merging the map of SoC with the "exclusive" parts of the maps of CS and CoP and trying to restore content from earlier builds of CS/CoP (For example, various 'Lab XX' or other similar locations are mentioned, but never shown in the games, something else was shown in those very old S2 screens GSC released when the game was abandoned, etc)..

TL;DR

New dlc-sized community made maps, with related new quests that expand the story of the game, conversion or re-building of CS and CoP maps into SoC to have them all in a single game and stuff like that.

p.s. I'm a modder myself, I know how hard it is to be a modder and work on something like that so I'm not asking for anything and I already know it will never happen, but dreaming is free.. :-) Just imagine, though.. The Chosen One keeps wandering north and he eventually finds a "new" Zone, somewhere else in the ex-URSS territory (We all know there were plenty of secret bases spread across Russia)and it's bloodsuckers'-rape-fest all over again, but far from the CNPP. :-)

Even if pisol looks old-style, the angle of aiming is so bad... Make it look more straight!

Those skyboxes & environment are everything.
Even though its the zone it don't have to be muddy and all over brown tinted meaning most of it is still untouched by humans therefor some colorful flowers should grow wild over there :)

I'm curious. Do you use static lighting or dynamic lighting while taking these screenshots?
