From the team that brought you translations of Eastern creations such as Last Day and MLR...
Legend Returns is an Eastern-made S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod based on version 1.4.22 of Call of Chernobyl, set between the events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. It includes a return to the atmosphere and general feeling of Shadow of Chernobyl, in addition to several new gameplay features, completely new questlines, a leveling system, and restored content from build versions of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
The translation is still a work in progress, but has been released to the public and is progressing steadily! It also has a GitHub page, where detailed progress of all files is kept.
A clean version of version 1.4.22 of Call of Chernobyl is required to install Legend Returns. If you’d prefer to use an installer that already contains Call of Chernobyl, you may skip to the Installer version section below.
These files need to be installed into a single directory in order:

İs there anything to do with Strelok right now? I started as a Slime and then switched to Loner after completing Slimes' tower mission. I did all main missions like shutting down both psi fields and Sidorovich's main mission chain, that Slime PDA quest etc.
While looking for stuff I haven't completed yet, I went to Zaton after Generators and found Skadovsk occupied by another faction, but their reason to be there was cool. I found it weird that this faction's 'box' quest (idk if spoiler option is a thing) in Jupiter referred to anarchists as the faction that stole the box, yet the place was occupied by Monolith in that save game. I started a new game to check if the place had any npc in the beginning, but it turned out empty.
Overall the mod is cool. I appreciate the translation and had fun doing faction quests. I liked the new factions, guns (especially VSK-94), different faction locations and npc special dialogue in general and the letter mission. Things I disliked are homing snorks and their lack of kicking attack (they always move away to jump on me again no matter if it's a closed or open space) and the fact that their melee range is very ridiculous; fully invisible bloodsuckers and how they hit like a truck, enemies spawning at map transition points, quick save and load sometimes causing mutants to spawn next to you if you saved inside a mutant smart terrain, and that laboratories also have respawning mutants upon save load. I guess spawn issues are common in freeplay Stalker mods. The most infuriating was companions. They get stuck often when I throw bolts and hit an anomaly, especially gravity ones. I also found suits with integrated helmets very weak, especially Skat armor. I used Monolith Suit with a separate Screen Helmet most of the time.
Lastly, irrelevant to likes and dislikes, I wonder if there is anything more than that Slime guy and his mission, lab documents, Quiet Hills and Jupiter checkpoint traders to learn more about unknown stalkers.
Edit: Option to disable npc tracker and beep would be great. I apologize if it's a thing and I haven't been thorough with options.
Hey all; looking for a little help with the 'stashes' quest. I'm currently searching for the one (Stash number 7, I think) that's in the red forest. The note says 'stones near the tank' and I've just spent well over an hour checking re-checking every single stone and rock near the tank. Am I missing something? Is there another tank somewhere?
You may have found it by now but that stash is under the rocks by the border. I think it was towards east of the tank. Low crouch and you might interact with the backpack. Also, approach the rocks from the south, unless my orientation is way off. I found it more than a week ago.
Another question. Does Duty have no medic in Bar? I found Aspirin dead on the steps descending into Voronin's bunker. He is a medic in a popular mod. When I respawned as a new character in Bar to see if living Aspirin was a medic, he was acting like a normal npc save for his unique dialogue.
Hello. The mod is good and the translation is much appreciated, but I have a few questions. Is my dosimeter bugged? It always says 'no radiation' despite the geiger counter is going mad and I'm losing health. Would probably have answered itself if dosimeter worked, but do I need better armor and mask to survive what I assume is radiation in Lab x18/Dark Laboratory? I'm wearing a Sunrise Suit and Stalker's version of PBF mask.
Also, I found a neutral npc in the Wild Territory. His body was at the tight passage where you meet with the ecologists in SoC. Is this the 'courier' for the Barman? His body was empty and his name was starting with letter O. I think he was wearing a bandit overcoat. Might edit later and give the exact name. Lastly, do you recommend disaling A-life? Fighting Monolith in the Garbage is weird. I don't think disabling this would stop Chimera and Pseudogiant from showing up in Cordon and similar hobo phase areas of the South. They are less annoying than fully invisible pack of Bloodsuckers for certain. Nvm, just noticed the Rostok map east of Wild Territory.

Does anyone know what we're supposed to find in the Lost Expedition mission from Sid (look for something left behind by the military in Train Hangar at the Garbage)? I've been looking all over the place, there's no marker and I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I really want to love this mod :(
Look up high on one of the crosswalks - beware the bloodsucker.
You, sir, are the true legend of the Zone. I will name my favorite artifact after you! Thanks!
It's a truly great mod - enjoy. Vote for it!!!
