Is there ever gonna be full compatibility with Jedi Academy? This is a pretty solid mod that would benefit it greatly.

Maybe in future. For JA is required a full rework of the project, not a simple adaptation.

files appear in folder, but not in mod window of game. 2 files to drag to data/base, what did I do wrong?

It doesn't appears in mod list because it works as a game file, like Expanded Menu, it's active when you run the game and I recommend to use also this for JK2.

The mod looks promising. (I've only played the first five episodes so far). I just want to write.

1. Why do I need to set the widescreen resolution manually? Why can't the mod do it alone? In addition, the widescreen display isn't perfect, as too wide subtitles during the game are obscured by life indicators and ammunition. And during the cutscene, the characters often have their heads cut off.
2. Explosions - graphically the show looks bad, their strength isn't adequate and the light effect of the explosion is caused only by the rocket.
3. Video and audio quality go hand in hand. And basically the vast majority of sounds are of poor quality. Either more or less. And the quality of the soundtrack isn't much either.
4. Disgusting beetles in tunnels are still of poor quality.
5. Shadows are very good, but sometimes they behave strangely.
6. The graphics of old games are most degraded by the absence of anti-aliasing.

My friend, I think you're confusing a complete remastered game for a simple textures/scripts improvement like my modification.

Probably yes. That's why I forgot to ask, what is the goal of this mode, please? I think the graphics mode should definitely handle widescreen resolution on its own.

FX mod is intended as better effects and materials for the game, I deleted a dll file that fixed gun position but it avoid compatibility with other projects.
You can use Expanded Menu to select many settings via menu but definitely many things like correct position for the weapons have to be manually typed in the console.

Honestly, I noticed the weapon mistake by accident and didn't solve it at all. The graphics look good, but are a bit unbalanced. First of all, I would like to correct the shadows.

When using a fist (from a first person perspective), it looks like he has an invisible forearm, even with a shadow.
