Hello ! This mod looks awesome ! However, for an nknown reasons, stormtroopers appear to have their blasters upside down... Maybe have i installed something wrong?
It seem that your mod is compatible with the native VR port from Team Beef. I'm wondering if I can install your mod with your recommended instruction or it will be different? Thank you so much. Be safe.
Is there ever gonna be full compatibility with Jedi Academy? This is a pretty solid mod that would benefit it greatly.
Maybe in future. For JA is required a full rework of the project, not a simple adaptation.
This game I dropped support for because its chronically stuck in 16 bit presentation on modern machines despite what it reports in the menu which makes it a color banding nasty. See my idea of quality is very brutally unforgiving. Ill care if the full blown RTX guy working on this fixes this idiotic problem, for the otherwise superior game of the two.
RemasteredRetroPC what do you mean with "16 bit presentation"? The textures are in 32 bit just like Jedi Academy, if you set the game color depth at max quality.
Negative. Ive set the option to 32bit on a modern machine and even the slightest HDR will induce color banding unlike academy using identical profiles. Its clearly a bug.
In other news im about two days from proving a enormous file for id tech 3 is a smart decision because I was willing to reconstruct information beyond AI please please do it all for me ok?
The stencil shadows have more bugs in Outcast and the timetable for RTX launch by whats his face labs is not publically announced. He literally has no launch window planned as I asked. To me if 10 years from his video and nothing is downloadable, its probably not happening. You should get into RTX Remix and learn how to go beyond 4x upscales because its certainly possible. 4 months of full time work for Jedi Academy, because AI is trash by itself at those starting resolutions.
The mod looks promising. (I've only played the first five episodes so far). I just want to write.
1. Why do I need to set the widescreen resolution manually? Why can't the mod do it alone? In addition, the widescreen display isn't perfect, as too wide subtitles during the game are obscured by life indicators and ammunition. And during the cutscene, the characters often have their heads cut off.
2. Explosions - graphically the show looks bad, their strength isn't adequate and the light effect of the explosion is caused only by the rocket.
3. Video and audio quality go hand in hand. And basically the vast majority of sounds are of poor quality. Either more or less. And the quality of the soundtrack isn't much either.
4. Disgusting beetles in tunnels are still of poor quality.
5. Shadows are very good, but sometimes they behave strangely.
6. The graphics of old games are most degraded by the absence of anti-aliasing.
My friend, I think you're confusing a complete remastered game for a simple textures/scripts improvement like my modification.
Hello H3llBaron
Probably yes. That's why I forgot to ask, what is the goal of this mode, please? I think the graphics mode should definitely handle widescreen resolution on its own.
FX mod is intended as better effects and materials for the game, I deleted a dll file that fixed gun position but it avoid compatibility with other projects.
You can use Expanded Menu to select many settings via menu but definitely many things like correct position for the weapons have to be manually typed in the console.
Honestly, I noticed the weapon mistake by accident and didn't solve it at all. The graphics look good, but are a bit unbalanced. First of all, I would like to correct the shadows.
What kind of weapon mistake? Be more specific.
When using a fist (from a first person perspective), it looks like he has an invisible forearm, even with a shadow.
It's a vanilla issue
