Install:
- Backup your patch.dat, patch.fat, and Dunia.dll files.
- Extract the files from this mod into their place - patch.dat and patch.fat into Far Cry 2 > Data_Win32, and Dunia.dll into Far Cry 2 > bin
- Start a new game
Optional but recommended:
- Run the included "ExtraContent.reg" to add extra machetes and missions to your game
- Follow the PCGW instructions to disable Depth of Field
- Add -GameProfile_SkipIntroMovies 1 to your launch options

- There are two version of this mod. The Steam and GOG versions are NOT fully cross compatible.

For the sake of having clear, defined goals for a mod, I have removed the "special" version of Hunter's Far Cry 2 Update. This "vision" of the game is now known as Far Cry 2: Redux.
It features all bug fixes from the Update, plus many more specific gameplay changes. The biggest of which is the new custom Map/GPS system.

Is it possible to get a version with just the tape fix and predecessor missions? I don't want all these pointless gameplay design changes, just the two most annoying bugs fixed.

Which one supports the retail disc version? I don't really want to use Redux as I just want the bug fixes and fov and accuracy tweaks.

No. This mod is obsolete. I recommend using Redux.
Hey there. There seem to be alot of similarities between this mod and the Far Cry 2 Redux mod, are there much differences at all? Also I own the game on Uplay, which version file should I download?
This was my first FC2 mod, and is focused more on fixing and balancing things.
I definitely recommend Redux.
