This is an exclusive demo, not related to the main campaign. You will not get spoiled the main campaign's content. Only the very end will provide some extra story information for the main campaign. Therefore, you are invited to freely play Atmospheric Demo.

Good day!
I have not really planned to make a release article, rather just upload the files and that is it. However, after some talk internally, we have come to realize we need to set up some instructions on reporting crashes and other various issues to avoid the typical "the mod always crashes" or other similar comment.
Issues can be reported in the comment section here. All issues are looked at, even if we are not necessarily responding to all of them.
Please provide as much information as possible. This includes:
Please note that empty comments that follow the trend "the mod crashes", "it doesn't work", "I have a bug", "fuk u" will be ignored.
Thank you for your patience! This is the beginning of the journey with Atmospheric Demo! Chapter 1 is in development and more information will be revealed as more progress is made.
Much has already been said in the previous article, however, we strongly recommend playing the game the first time on easy, medium or hard. Only play on nightmare difficulty on a second playthrough.
There are 2 slightly different endings. Finding all secrets and playing the entire demo on nightmare difficulty will unlock some extra story elements for the main campaign. Changing difficulty mid game or not finding all secrets will cancel that ending.
Have fun everyone!
Hard Duty features a bunch of new things. Some taken from the expansions and some being unique.
Hard Duty: Atmospheric Demo entered beta testing not long ago, see what has been learned through this phase.

Played through and thought it was well made, very much inspired by Half-Life: Echoes and Opposing Force which are good inspirations to have, would be nice to see what sets this campaign apart from the inspiration.
The rectangle tracking points of interest are novel and work well until you pick up a gun. I find that it interferes too much with aiming, I think it should be used to make puzzles and buttons known but not enemies, also try to play with the distance of when it triggers.
Best of luck!
I liked it very much! I had a lot of fun with the level design, you did a great job. Another pleasant surprise was the secrets and OP monsters. Overall, I liked everything about your modification.
It looks amazing.
Hi, just wanted to say that I am loving this mod so far! Question, will there be a feature to switch between LD and HD models in the future? Also, could you make it so that the Shockroach can gib enemies like in OpFor?
EDIT: Btw, I think that the secrets are bugged. The one with the grenade won't trigger.
Hey there! Thank you for wonderful experience, the atmosphere similar to Echoes mode and underground levels as well. Surface level reminds me surface level design of Black Mesa. But I have a suggestion, can u replace colour of portal race X on pink?
hoooly ****, man. first of all, props to the underhell reference at the ending there, i KNEW i remembered those lights and hallway from somewhere but it took me a bit to remember. this mod's atmosphere is great, absolutely great. reminds me a little bit of Signal Lost, though that one leans more towards beta aesthetics and running on it's own engine.
Diffuclty was pretty fair, I did appreciate the changed up enemies, items to pick up, and slightly modified puzzles that came with Nightmare dificulty. Plus, the music! Loved it, hope you guys upload it onto youtube at some point. All in all, this seems extremely promising, and I'll hopefully be around to play this when it comes out in the future.
Fantastic mod, I think the levels are very pretty and exciting to play through, I look forward to more stuff coming.
I played "nightmare" difficulty. In this mod
But little bit strange in nightmare, so.. i just took a look skills file.
And then i found.. that was just modfied damage value.
What about change monster hp value too in nightmare..?
And about door. when player open the door, door has lagging little bit. It just stuck 1~1.5 sec and then opened door.
This mod looks using "Auto target scan" system. I thought that just replaced crosshair
But, that was not crosshair. Is that one of custom hud right ?
Overall, hard duty remind me "Field Intensity" Mod.
Thank you.
Nice
