Hard Duty: Atmospheric has now released. This is the ZIP download (manual installation). You may need to switch to the pre-anniversary update branch of Half-Life to play.

Hard Duty: Atmospheric Demo uses the classic GoldSrc engine, with a custom SDK specific to Hard Duty. To install Hard Duty: Atmospheric Demo, extract the ZIP's contents in SteamDir\steamapps\common\Half-Life

Q: Why is there a ZIP and an EXE?
A: Both options will install the mod's files. The difference is the ZIP requires manual installation of the files in your (Steam only) Half-Life folder (something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life). This is for those who are experienced and know how installation of mods files work. If you are unsure on how or where to install the files, simply run the executable. The installer will attempt to fetch your Half-Life directory automatically. If not, just point to it. The executable will only work on Windows!
The end structure should look like this regardless of the method chosen: .\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\hardduty_demo
Q: On what engine is Hard Duty running?
A: Unmodified GoldSrc engine.
Q: Can it run on Linux?
A: Yes.
Q: Can it run on MacOS?
A: No.
Q: Can it run on Xash?
A: No. This is because the code has been modified to include VGUI2 (among other things) that makes it incompatible with Xash.
Q: Can it run on MMOD?
A: No. Hard Duty features similar elements found in MMOD, and, as such, running Hard Duty simultaneously with MMOD will more than likely cause code conflict.
Q: Q: Can it run on the WON version of Half-Life?
A: No.
Q: Can you make it Xash and/or MMOD compatible in the future?
A: A lot of the code would have to be tested and perhaps updated to smoothly run on Xash/MMOD. This isn't a priority as of now.
Q: I don't like the HD models. Can I disable them?
A: You can modify files as you see fit to re-introduce the original models. Please note, however, that neither support will be given nor fixes will be pushed if the mod breaks because of file tampering. You modify files at your own risk. Original models will not be included in any official releases of Hard Duty.
Q: I don't like some of the features. Can I disable them?
A: Options are available in the "Advanced" tab in-game. If an option you don't like can't be easily deactivated, let us know, and we'll look into it.
Q: How do I report bugs and other issues?
A: Use ModDB comments.
Q: Do you have a Discord server?
A: No. Not for public community, at least.

That was epic, top notch mapping & entertaining gameplay!
The only issue I've noticed, is disproportionally small size of few car models (except Black Mesa jeeps, they are just fine). Probably, car4_1.mdl & car_old.mdl.
