Half-Life: Orange Shift puts you in the shoes of 28 year-old Curtis Backman, a boring computer technician turned HEV commando who must fend for himself when he is engulfed in the Resonance Cascade and the military coup. Orange Shift will take you through many random areas of the Black Mesa Research Facility, and even more random ones in Xen and beyond.

Inspiration and constructive criticism - all of you from ModDB :)
Well hello people, you probably have not heard from me in quite a long time. I definitely do not use Moddb as much as I did about five to six years ago now (goddamn time flies). Definitely ever since I've graduated high school, shit has been different. But fortunately, I got the idea of slowly starting the process of polishing up Orange Shift once and for all. In other words, the mod is about to be prepared for release here definitely in months time, hopefully before I get deep into college starting next year.
The catch to all of this though is that the mod is very much abridged from what I had originally planned over four to five years ago now. Of course that shit always happens when planning anything, but I just thought I'd notify that since I did get pretty overambitious regarding planning for the mod. But anyway, it is always safe to say that Half-Life: Orange Shift is anything but a dead and forsaken project.
Crazy that it's been an active thread ever since my freshman year of high school lol. I couldn't be any more grateful for all of the feedback and support I have gotten from people regarding the mod and level design, etc. You all have always been great help, and I can't thank you enough.
Stay tuned for more content hopefully here eventually. Orange Shift is on the way regardless! :)
