Requires latest version of Mapbase to play!
What Remains is a HL2/EP2 mod, including Alyx as a companion (with an HEV suit of her own), Episode 2 like environments, night levels, and combat and puzzles. What Remains' sole purpose is a passion project for my favorite game series, it took nearly 3 years of on/off development.
Features:
-About 2 hours of gameplay.
-Alyx has an HEV suit, and a few new animations.
-A new feature for the car, for night levels.

Hello, and welcome to my first official mod release! I've been working solo on this mod since mid 2018 as my passion project.
Half-Life 2: What Remains!
The mod is about 2 - 3 hours of gameplay, traversing Ep2 like environments, fighting Combine, zombies, and the like. Oh, and Alyx gets her own HEV suit too, with some new animations for things like ladders and water.
It also makes use of Mapbase, for things like tree swaying and headlights for the jalopy!

I didnt beat the game so it does not feel fair to leave a review, and this might be huge "skill issue" on my part, but I lost a lot of health during the manned-gun fight with the zombies, and now going into the mines and getting hit by any of the many enemies (notably the constantly spawning antlions) instant-kills me and at this point I cannot continue in the game without cheating (example: god mode, spawning in stuff, noclip, etc.)
absolutely stunning mod! felt like valve quality, just as always wished it were a lilttle bit longer.
also, i enjoy the fact that the 2nd chapter "Power Down" really was all about power, from the start of the complex to the rebel camp.
alyx's HEV suit is invisible
nevermind, moving the mapbase folders from the installation into sourcemods fixed it.
Мод хороший, но увы, без помощи стима мне его не запустить, на no-steam версии вылетает с ошибкой в плане gameinfo.txt наверное его нужно было запустить на half-life 2
Alyx can be killed by Barnacle enemy. She dont know they are enemy and you cant proceed without her only if u restart the last save. Btw the mod is awesome. Good Job.
