Sins of a Solar Empire is often described as a 4XRTS game, or a game that tried to merge the action and tactics packed gameplay of a Real time strategy game with the deep, complex, empire wide strategy of a 4X turn based game. It's up to debate whether Sins succeeded in this goal, but I think all can agree that of the 4Xs of "explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate", Sins is much more focused on the exterminate than on the others. This mod seeks to give more depth to the other 3Xs of the game by adding additional game elements or refining the existing ones to reward players who give more strategic thought to the non-combat side of the game. Combat will still be the center point of the game, but players will find that the non-combat options available will be much more rewarding. Spying, exploring, sabotage, diplomacy, culture, and economic development have all been added or changed in innovative new ways. Regardless of what you think Sins is, this is the 4XRTS it should have been.
Description
This download is now outdated. Please download the 1.701 patch for Rebellion 1.80, this download is not necessary. The Enhanced 4X Mod version 1.7 for Rebellion version 1.8. To install, download the file, extract it to your Mods-Rebellion v1.80 folder, and enable it from the mods tab in game. The checksum should be 37620020.

do i need stellar dlc?
Nope. Like Forbidden Worlds DLC will always be optional. DLC owners will get the content they paid or though.

quick question i installed the mod and enabled it everything works well except about every 10 min. it stops working just vanishes regardless of wat im doing any ideas y ??
Try reducing your graphics settings (say planet detail from highest to high), the new DLC has left even less room for mods to run. :-/ The new patch released right after I uploaded this may also be causing some problems, I'll look into that and upload a patch soon.

its like one after another sorry for the bother now it wont let me start up the game i get something about minidump save Sins-Rebellion v1.80-2013-11-14-16-02-34-5088-6004.dmp wat does that mean?
Try going into your mods folder, delete the "Enabled Mods.txt" file, and see if it works when loading the mod again.

I love it but I found some bugs for examples models keep dissapearing as well as a graphical glitch concerning the gamma ray outburst where you don't see it as you should but rather white planes, I have the stellar phenomena DLC and this mod what do you think could be the reaseon?
First thing to always try is lowering graphic settings, sometimes the game starting to run out of RAM can cause things to disappear as well. I'm also working on a patch since the little patch yesterday introduced a few glitches, not sure if that would affect the Gamma Ray Burst though.
Love the mod but I got the stupid update and now I just get mini dumps within 2 mins of every match. Keep up the great work and cant wait for the hotfix!!!
