Quality of life and Balance:
--- Now testing a mouse collision override value for all starships, to make them more easily selectable when hovering over. Will greatly benefit units like the DP-20, and reduce player annoyance trying to select small units.
--- Starfighter and Gunship based Medium and Heavy lasers now nearly pinpoint accurate.
Now higher tier units with stronger weapons are more effective against lighter units, creating a slightly greater contrast between higher and lower tier starfighters
This also has the side effect that units like the Arc-170 with heavy weapons feel more satisfying to use, as they hit their targets more consistently.
--- Turbolaser accuracy against gunships and corvettes has decreased.
Turbolasers were too powerful against gunships from a recent accuracy increase.
--- Golan upkeep has been tripled.
--- the Alliance Assault Frigate has been reworked from a super heavy tank, to a heavy tank, that carries three starfighter squadrons instead of missile launchers, carrying: ; 1 Cutlass-9 (2); 1 V-Wing (2); 1 ARC-170 (2)
--- the Marauder now carries a single squadron of Z-95 Hullcrackers for all factions, except for the Rebellion, which gets the superior Cutlass-9

Current Tech 1 rebel starfighter roster consists of:

T-wing light interceptor
Z-95 headhunter fighter craft
Z-95 hullcracker light torpedo bomber
Cutlass-9 torpedo bomber
U-wing support craft, now with fixed repair drones
PT-1 missile gunship equipped with high explosive missiles
ARC-170 assault starfighter.

The release will take place this february, regardless of what final updates we can't stuff in there, it's happening this month, likely towards the end.

Always happy to see buildable squadron buffs for the Rebels. It's crazy how forgotten they are by most mods, as though the Alliance did not depend on its starfighters in pretty much every medium.

Description

Rebel Rework part 1: Those that fight for the Alliance, fight for freedom, and the promise of a life without tyranny.
Content & Bugfixes, Quality of life & Balance updates:
Content & Bugfixes:
--- All Rebel starfighter units that can be build (not neutral units) have a passive +20% durability bonus.
Text has been added to their descriptions to reflect this. More changes to the Rebellion to further emphasise starfighters are coming.
--- T-wing added for Rebels at tech 1.
A fast, but rather poor interceptor. While it is as fast as a TIE Interceptor, it suffers from an unfortunate mix of low maneuverability and lower firepower.
--- Cutlass-9 added for Rebels at tech 1.
A modified version of the Cutlass armed with dual proton torpedo launchers and two medium lasers. It serves the Alliance as an otherwise unremarkable bomber craft.
Contrasts the later Y-wing and its heap of features such as the ion cannon, ion torpedo, its thick armor, self repair and strong shields.
--- Rebel X and Y wing moved to tech 2. Another tech 1 starfighter will be added to their roster soon to fill the gap.
The X and Y wings are exceptional starfighters. Even more so with the passive +20% shield and hit points. They are right at home at tech 2.
--- Fixed U-wing and Gozanti repair drones.
--- Prep work for defectors, the continueation of the shift in the Rebellions faction identity.
