'Drawn to be alive' is an adventure/stealth game where the player will have the control of a character made of paper, extracted from a picture by an incredible magic Ink. This Ink was created by a professor who sells the paper creatures at a very high price. The character was about to be destroyed when he suddenly awakes. This is where the game begins.
Our little paper boy is lost into this world. His goal is to find out how he got out of his own pictural world and how to get back into it. But he's small, fragile and he doesn't know yet, very expensive. He will have to be very discrete and careful. His physical condition is an advantage for that but also and inconvenient. He's able to hide behind pices of furniture, into drawings, slip under doors but the fire, the water and the wind and even worse the human beings will be his greatest threats!

About the mod progress, we've fixed some bugs and made a US version: menus, subtitles and installer. We've decided not to release it yet in the current state. We want to make another level.
The interest shown by all of you by being in the top100 gave us a boost to our motivation and we'll find the time to work much more seriously on the mod. Another member of the team will soon work in the same town as two of us already do.
We wanted to tell you about a new video of Drawn to be alive which shows the effects of the natural dangers on this fragile paper boy.
The smallest cigarette end, any source of fire may turn the character into a torch. The player has to help him extinguish the fire.
The water is very dangerous too! A simple drip of water may hurt and falling into a dirty pool will soak the paper. If the character's wet, the player has to find a source of heat to dry the paper.

after letting Ryan from Moddb try the mod. We've decided no to release the current (2006) version.
It would require more work to finish it and obviously we don't find the time.
I hope you understand. It's better to let you with your own idea of what it is than post a student unfinished demo.

I say this:
If it will be a game/mod in the future for Drawn To Be Alive; then don't release the "alpha" now.
But if ur going to throw (plz not!) the project away; then release all the materials so others can finish it!

why this at the top of the mod section... i cannot see no update... still looks as dead as it did 2 years ago.
Seriously, got my hopes up for nothing.
I am ready to buy this game and UT 2004 that i dont have. Hope it will ber possible.
