Dawn of War XL (Dark Crusade) mod

Dawn of War XL is a simple mod that scales up the size of vehicles but leaves unchanged the gameplay, and brings in few among the best models from all other mods.

-Vehicle size upscaled up to 60% (with some exceptions)
-Infantry size, depending on the unit, has been either downscaled, upscaled and/or randomized, ranging from 90% to 120%
-Several models (but not all) imported from mods such as Firestorm Over Kronus, Titanium Wars, Unification Mod. You can find most of the changes in the Space Marine, Chaos and Eldar Factions. Full credits and sincere thanks to the respective authors, if you liked the new models, i encourage you to check out the original mods cited above.
-Imported various soundtracks strictly from Warhammer 40k franchises, namely Dawn of War 2, Dawn of War 3, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, Warhammer 40k: Gladius.
-No balance changes
-No gameplay changes
-Dawn of War AI Extended SS included, once again, thanks to the original authors.

## FAQs ##

-How do i install the mod?
Just extract the folder and module with 7zip and place them into the main game folder, where "DarkCrusade.exe" is located. Next, start the game, select from the main menu "Game Manager" and activate the XL mod.

-The campaign movies are not working!
copy-past the folder "DXP2\Movies" into "DoW-XL\Movies". I could have added it myself but i wanted to keep the archive as light as possible.

-Some of the campaign units are not scaled / do not reflect skirmish changes
If something is missing, just tell me specifically which unit from the campaign has not been updated, and i will try to fix it.

-I'm not satisfied with the units size, can i change the scaling myself?
Yes, and it's pretty easy too. Just go over your game folder and enter the DoW_XL/Data/art/ebps/races
Say for example, that you want to increase the size of the space marines' Rhino, enter the space_marines/troops folder and open with a text editor "rhino.lua"
Edit the "vis_scale_min" and "vis_scale_max", and increase them from 1.35 to whatever you want, save and close the file, and you're done.
If "vis_scale_min" and "vis_scale_max" have not the same value, the size of the unit will be randomized. This can be useful if you want to flavor up the infantry size, for example.

-I've found a graphic or audio bug, like a missing texture or sound, what to do?
Just let me know which unit or element is bugged and i will try to fix it. If you want to be more helpful, you can also post the "warnings.log" which is found in the game folder.

-Is this compatible with other mods?
No. If you know how to edit the .module files, some basic mods may be safe to merge together.

-Can i use the DoW Mod Manager for it?
Yes.

-Why did you change the name of the mod?
M42 was a cool name but most probably misleading, sooner or later someone was bound to ask me "Where are the primaris?"

-Are future updates planned?
Aside from some minor fixes if necessary, no, no updates planned.
