Blessed by Newblood, this mod features all weapons from dusk, ported into Doom engine. The mod also features game achievements, game mutators and even an optional fork of ZMovement, called "Dusk movement" made by Ivory Duke himself.

i wish i knew this mod gotten that update when i did my Heretic x Doosk series on my Twitch channel. cause i used Romero's Heresy with this. which for the most part worked alright, except the hanging corpses. but i know we talked about it. i don't blame you or anything. but i like how this is now able to be played with Heretic itself. i do plan to do redo my series of it with the actual game one day. and maybe i might try out other Heretic mods with this as well

Cool! I did not realise the mod was already compatible with Heretic. Your mod makes the game much more fun already!

But watching this footage, I was reminded of two more (minor) issues regarding Doosk:

1) How do you get the Cigar in Doosk? I have been playing your mod for months, but I have yet to find it anywhere. Is it only available through the console?

2) When I play Doosk in Freedoom and I grab a barrel, the mod will use the Doom barrel sprite rather than its Freedoom counterpart.

Finally, I would suggest having rocket weapons spawn in places of certain items (e.g. useless ones like Shadowspheres) so that they can be available in the first episode, where rocket ammo can be found but no Riveteer nor Mortar is available.

* Cigar is cheat only. Just like in Dusk. You can type either IDFA cheat or nbcigar on console.

* That thing with freedoom is a major limitation of the sourceport. You don't actually pickup the barrel. The barrel becomes a weapon, then you fire a barrel projectile. Since barrel weapon don't use the same sprites as the regular barrels, there's where the difference becomes noticeable. Even on Icarus review, you notice him picking up a different barrel and becoming the doom one. That can't be fixed.

I'll think about the third point, but all these months I've found no balance issues with current placement, as the phoenix was pretty much an actual rocket launcher.

This video is 2 months old already though, several things were changed since then, including most of the feedback you gave me.

Awesome! And third point is no biggie; it is just that I ran across rockets in the first episode and found myself wishing I could use them - without summoning a grenade or rocket launcher, that is.

Checking out the code noticed, that there are already rocket replacing some the timebomb stuff.
It has a third chances to apprear though, as health and armor bonuses also appreas in there.

So, you're actually receiving more rocket ammo than normal.
