Doom 3: Golden Edition (ver.1.5)
Full Version 1 comment!!! Warning: Not compatible with BFG Edition !!! -Fixed the game being too bright with more recent Nvidia drivers. -Fixed pixelated normal map textures...
A remastering of the 2004 classic. Although a lot of it is rebalancing, even though there are a few changes that one could say as being drastic, there however are some presentational differences like the lighting, music (yes, music) and sound effects. But in the end, this is still Doom 3. BFG Edition not included.

good mod but can you add the absolute hd mod built in the mod it and lvel slector and it be Perfect
Golden Edition is a hypothetical alternative version of Doom 3 that we could've gotten back in 2004. It needs to be true to games of that era. But nothing's stopping you from adding an HD mod on top of Golden Edition.
Version for ROE? Is it exists?
There will be a version released in the near future. Just using the current mod will lead to crashing in certain areas of the game.

Could a version that's just lighting, FX and stuff be released?
I'd like to try it without the rebalancing
System requirements?
A moderately capable modern PC or a Gaming PC from 10 years ago is all you need.
If you also include the "zz_plasma_slowdown_fix.pk4" file in the Golden Edition folder then I'd say any PC from the duel core era (2005+) is adequate. Gaming cards from that era should also be fine.
The slowest machine I had was able to run this at a smooth 60fps.
The specs are:
Core 2 Duo E8200
4GB RAM
GeForce 8800GT 512MB
Will you give players a chance to change the crosshair to the original?
Deleting config.spec usually reverts the crosshair back to the default. Don't know why you would :p It's so chunky and blocks your view of the enemy from a far distance that it makes it so much harder to get a headshot.
