commanding your squad including Soldiers , Mortar
Teams and also fight alongside with Medics.
Your units main objective is very simple;
*Eleminate Resistance
*Destroy all Artillery Units
*Secure the bridge at Son
*Join the assault on Eindhoven
Togther with the new weapons you will find
the M3A1 Grease Gun , Luger ,
-Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger ,
-Junkers JU 88
and many more famouse weapons & vehicles.
We have decided to add more violence to the game
that will probely raise the minimum spec bar.
Of course it will be on/off config.
That's all i can mention here and for now.
You will find what the 506th found when they
fought at MarketGarden more than 60 years ago.
Thnx, Heady
My understanding is that the game collapsed quietly....
Now the aim circle is really crap. might as well not waste the ammo unless @ 2m or less
have to agree the game is a bit wiffy there

Whats all the gripe
I've taken out MANY enemy over iron sites at 100 m plus in this game.
Usually take 2 or 3 to soften up then assault with teams.
Granted I'm brand new to this game, but I'm in a close quarters fight right now, point blank range. I've taken 10 or more shots at the same guy, and none have hit. I suspect the mouse position on some PCs may be worse than others. In other games, I have to aim right to hit center mast. In this one, I aim way right, and only sometimes get a hit. I think there's more to it than just realism. I'm no great shooter, but I've had 27 years firing standard military weapons.
I'm with the thread starter. Sumfin ain't right in river city....
Is this mod still being made?
G.I.Joe_Jr, ofcorse its not gonna hit its exact aimpoint, when ya fire a gun, it gets a kickback, thats 1. others can be that u cant hold the gun perfectly straighty, 3 might be the wind, u cant just shoot and expect to aim at the exact spot. the aim gives you a idea of where to point that thing. not where u hit em.
The guys in BIA are volenteers, not fully trained Soldiers in the Modern World.
Plus why bother looking at Mods for the game when you dont like it?
If you guys can slag a game off about things you havent tryed to do in real life, then call it unrealistic you should be ashamed, BIA is a tactical shooter, not run and gun like most of you noobie people want in a game.
personnaly if you take your time with the shot on BIA you can easily pick people off from range, you kind of people must pull up the sights and think. "Oh now i get pin point accuracy, im invincible" Take about 3-4 seconds to aim before shooting, then your little problem with aiming is sorted, if you still complain, go figure out how to code your own game instead of slaggin off someone elses. i wish to hear no more off this discussion.
On a lighter note.
This mod sounds pretty good, its a great idea to do Market Garden as a campaign.
Are you really that ATFU? You apparently don't read or comprehend well. Snipers dream spot, taken in context, was just an expression. DUH. That's not how I play. My Statement stands, the sights are CR_P! It doesn't matter what you're doing, if the weapon won't hit it's aim spot flanking or anything else doesn't matter. What ya gonna do when you got 'em flanked, say "BOO". No,you're gonna shoot 'em. But not with a weapon that doesn't hit it's aim point. So Cherry when yer in the open and they're in the open and yer only a dozen paces apart totally exposed, you think it's a good idea not to be able to hit your target? What you gonna flank when you're dead? I know what I'm talking about, you might want to take your funny ideas back to the sand box. Or perhaps try comprehending what you're reading.
the BIA ironsights are deliberately inaccurate to encourage you to flank and outmanouver the enemy rather than sit in your "snipers dream spot" - so basically when the enemy is behind cover you can shoot them all you want, but they aint gonna fall :(
