I rate the game a 7. It was absolutely terrible for half the game, but then it gets good. Thank you for making the mod.

I'm not sure how close to the end of the game I am, but the game is getting better. I thought that this game was a 4, but I feel comfortable giving it a 6 now. I'll change my review later.

This is proof of how boring Azure Sheep is. This is a typical level design in Azure Sheep.

I hate to say this, but this mod has been pretty boring so far. Installation was a pain. I had to download and install four different files. As for the game, it is so lackluster. Not very imaginative. And the textures are horrible. I even downloaded and installed various HD textures for Azure Sheep but they all sucked too. If Half-Life was a perfect 10, on a scale from 1-10, Poke646 might be a 12 because it was really well designed. This Azure Sheep would be a 3? I played Poke646 and Poke646: Vendetta nonstop. Azure Sheep I find myself snoring and taking one day breaks from the game. Maybe Azure Sheep is one of the top 20 Half-Life mods, but only because there probably aren't very many Half-Life mods and there aren't that many good ones. That's like saying Mcdonald's restroom toilet paper is top five toilet papers, but three of the other four are sandpaper or 2" wide. Doesn't make McDonald's toilet paper quality toilet paper. I guess that I can't complain because the mod was free and no one forced me to play it. I just wish that it was at least a 6-7. It's a snore fest. This mod designer is a little sick in the head. He seems to be obsessed with restrooms for some reason. Early in the game there was this floor with like twelves restroom signs. Most of them led to actual restrooms. Who needs that many restrooms in one small area of a floor? And a few didn't lead to restrooms at all but led to rooms like a billiards room. And Gordon being some douchebag hipster with a red convertible didn't add anything to the game. I'd rather the developer focus on actual level design than shenanigans like that. It was really sloppy work. I took some underground rail system and I didn't even need the rail transport because there were no high voltage tracks and I could just run down them. And just about every area in this game looks the same. Just make a maze with cardboard walls and really bad textures and that's pretty much how the entire game looks like. Every time you turn down a hall it looks like 500 other halls you walked down. Okay, am I being too harsh? I'll bump it up to a 4 instead of a 3. Still sucks.

Why is your download setup and instructions so complicated?

I played my first ever non-Steam Half-Life mod game yesterday. It was called Poke646. The installation was so simple. I just downloaded ONE zip file, extracted it, and copied the folder into the Half-Life installation folder. Done.

But your setup is so confusing. The three newest files are a SteamPipe Patch v1.1, a SteamPipe Patch v.?, and a Super Definition file. I am just going to assume that I only need the v1.1 patch, and not the other two. But of course, I can't install the Azure Sheep mod with just the patch. So in the patch description, it told me to click a "Link to Azure Sheep mod". I clicked it, which brought me to a Moddb page that said "download links can be found here". So I had to click yet another link. Which took me to an Azure Sheep website. Then after I clicked the "Download!" link on the Azure Sheep website, it brought me to yet another download page. So far, I had clicked a billion links (exaggerating, okay?). Then I found out that the mod can't be installed alone. Apparently I'm supposed to download a Steam patch too???? WTF!? So Mod + Steam Patch + SteampPipe Patch v1.1? Three files so far. And not only that but according to the v1.1 patch, it wants me to use the Beta - Beta version of Half-Life. I'm opted out of the Beta program for Half-Life, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. Why the hell is this so confusing and complicated? You should just make ONE download link for Azure Sheep that includes all patches and no requirements to be using the Beta program. I'm not sure if I even want to attempt this download now. Not when it's this complicated and confusing. I want to play it because it looks good, I know no one is forcing me to play it, I know you don't gain anything or benefit from me playing it, but I just wish you'd make it a one file download like Poke646 did and not require minimum three files and clicking half a dozen different links.

I'll search on Moddb for some other mods and I'll come back to this one later.

I'm so peeved that I am supposed to use the Beta program for Half-Life, but I'm going to attempt this download. I downloaded and ran the installer exe. Then after it was installed, I downloaded and ran the Steam patch. Then I set Half-Life to the Beta program. And now I am going to install the 07_29_17 SteamPipe Patch and the 12_12_17 (v1.1) SteamPipe Patch. That's a lot of BS to go through, but hopefully it will work when I am finished.
