North Korea had a pretty impressive influx of captured Japanese goods. Wonderful work!

Yeah, so did China and to a lesser extent I guess South Korea too since they used this tank as well. I don't know that I ever seen NK used this tank when researching, but I can make it available to them on certain maps. I mainly added this one since we needed something for the other factions to balance out the M8 Greyhound armored car. It is a light Anti-Infantry vehicle and both the Type 95 and M8 Greyhound use 37mm rounds, so when they go up against other tanks they would need 4-5 well placed rounds to knock out other tanks if not more, depending on where the rounds land.

We have a few more Japanese weapons to show off later on. I am giving the Chinese at least 3 Japanese handheld weapons.

T34's were deployed in fair numbers by North Korea during the early part of the war. En.wikipedia.org just an example. But personally i do enjoy seeing second line and minor nation vehicles and equipment. Soviet stuff is neat but t-34s have been done to death.

EDIT: derp, you already have t34s :P

Lol. Yeah our T-34/85 has been in the mod for years. I mean super light tank stuff. Like 37mm rounds.

We already have the T34 and SU-100 so we wanted to include something a bit lighter to go against our US M8 Greyhound. I know it is more of a traditional APC type vehicle compared to the Type 95 Ha-G0, but they will share similar roles.

Additionally I would REALLY like to see the Chinese be able to use the IS-2 since they did use a few in the Korean War but it wasn't super well documented, but they did deploy some to Korea. Problem is we lack 3D modelers now, they left the mod long ago, so I am having to get permission from mods that have missing content we can use to get the mod released.

IDF has an IS-3 but I don't want to use stuff that looks way out of place. We are already using a few placeholder stuff as it is.

Description

The Type 95 Ha-Gō (九五式軽戦車 ハ号 kyūgo-shiki kei-sensha Ha-Gō?) (also known as Ke-Go) was a light tank used by the Imperial Japanese Army in combat operations of the Second Sino-Japanese War, at Nomonhan against the Soviet Union, and in the Second World War. It proved sufficient against infantry, but, like the American M3 Stuart, it was not designed to fight other tanks. Approximately 2,300 units were produced, making it the most numerous Japanese armored fighting vehicle of the time.

The Type 95 Ha-Go was used by the IJA (Imperial Japanese Army) during World War II, but was also used by the Chinese during the Chinese Civil War and the Korean War. South Korea used them as well during the Korean War.

Hundreds of the tanks were left behind in China after the Japanese were defeated in WW2.

Main armament: Type 94 (1934) or 37 mm tank gun

Secondary armament: 2 × 7.7 mm Type 97 machine gun

Engine: Mitsubishi A6120VDe air-cooled inline 6-cylinder 14.4 L diesel
120 hp (90 kW) at 1800 rpm

Speed: 45 km/h (28 mph) on road

Thanks to Kraetzer from Forgotten Hope 2's Community Map Pack Pacific theater for letting us use this light tank.
