Battlefield 1942: Air Battle Improvement Patch (2021 UPDATE) mod

::DESCRIPTION::

This Patch will improve Air Battle for Battefield 1942 Singleplayer/Coop Mode (It requires Battlefield 1942 Patch 1.61 Version)

(All necessary Patches included in this file)

-Added Nose View for All Planes
-New Plane Textures for some aircrafts
-Added Planes for maps without aircrafts like Omaha Beach and Battle of the Bulge
-Changed Aircrafts Armor and Speed for Advantage / Disadvantages Realism
-Increased Planes Amount in many maps for Battles full of Aircrafts
-Increased Distance Visibility for Aircrafts and Maps Terrain
-Fixed Bf-109 Cockpit Gunsight Position and Bugged Wheels Over the Wings
-Added Third Person Infantry View (Just Press "C" key to change camera views)
-Replaced Engineer Helmets from all factions for Forgotten Hope Mod Pilot Helmets
-Added Hawker Audax Aircraft by Herc for British Army
-Added Map Oahu by resemblesreality with Edited AI Spawnpoints
-Added Map D-Day by Ryham with Planes and Fixed AI Spawnpoints
-Added Free Camera View after being killed for Singleplayer mode (Press keys "W" = Foward / "S" = "Backward" / "A" Left / "D" Right / "Shift" = Slow Movement / "Ctrl" = Fast Movement)
-Fixed Soldiers Face changing Bug (When your face become another soldiers face)
-Remodeled Stuka cockpit Model adding Fuselage Model Nose
-Made New Spitfire Gunsight

(You can choose Widescreen Resolutions now in Game Main Menu going to [Options] [Video])

(ATTENTION: As I released it as a Patch it will break the online mode since you will not be able to join servers anymore. So I recommend to create a Backup of your "bf1942" folder located inside "Mods" folder of your game before installing it)

::INSTALLATION::

If you want to install this Patch over your original Battlefield 1942 CD 1.0 Version to make it work in Windows 10 you will have to follow the exactly instructions:

1-Install "1-Battlefield 1942 Patch 1.6.19.exe"

2-Install "2-Battlefield 1942 Patch 1.61b.exe"

3-Install "3-Battlefield 1942 Gamespy Patch v1.61.exe"

4-Install "4-Battlefield 1942 Air Battle Improvement Patch.exe"

Attention: The installer will always ask you to install this Patch in the following directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942

So if you installed your game in other directory change the installation location field manually

(p.s: If you already had a working cracked Battlefield 1942 1.61 version you only need to follow step 4 and just install Air Battle Improvement Patch over it)

::TROUBLESHOT::

If you try to install BF1942 1.6 Patches over an original 1.0 version CD game and it sends a message about wrong version or could not find the game, it's because you didn't uninstall your game properly using the CD [Uninstall] function. So the game registry was not removed and you will have to remove it manually going to "regedit" and deleting the "Battlefield 1942" folder in this directory bellow:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\EA Games\Battlefield 1942]

1-So type "regedit" in Windows Start Button Search Bar

2-Browse through this directory:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\EA Games\Battlefield 1942]

3-Right mouse click over "Battlefield 1942" and click at "Delete"

4-Then install your game again using your CD for the game creates a new registry then the patches will install over it
