ATTENTION! THIS MOD IS NOT SUPPOSED TO PROMOTE ANY IDEOLOGY! | This is the newest version of the Axis Player mod for Call of Duty: World at War. The idea of the mod is to change all Allied forces (Americans and Russians) into Axis forces (Germans and Japanese) and vice versa in order to reverse the campaign. I would like to point out that I was not able to change everything, I may patch the mod again in the future. I hope everyone can understand that and still have some fun. It was tested in single-player, co-op and zombies and all game modes work - the crashes were rare, it should work just fine in most cases. Please check out the 'Special thanks to' section as well to see all the wonderful people that helped me! | ATTENTION! It is possible to get a multiplayer ban for using the modified binaries - thanks to CptWesley for the info.
New American uniforms:
1. Better Dress Blues for the USMC Honor Guard (Staff Sergeant, various medals, they now have equipment as well) [original Dress Blues texture made by Nomeniny - edited by me]
2. USMC Honor Guard with Aviator sunglasses (seen in limited numbers in "Breaking Point")
3. USMC Honor Guard with US headband (seen in limited numbers in "Breaking Point")
Mod version: 1.4 demo (obsolete)
These uniforms are badass! I like the headband with US on it
Thank you!
where can i get the usmc honorguard uniforms and usa headband uniforms as seperate skins and all the other us uniforms skins like the us navy skins and us air force skins?
The USMC Honor Guard and US headband skins are a part of this mod only, at least as of now. The US Navy and pilot models and skins are taken from the original game, I have just put them in different missions.
Can I look through this mod's folders and go to images and retrieve the usmc honorguard skins and the us navy and pilot model skins seperately? and which maps would they appear in if i do?
I don't fully understand what do you want to achieve, could you explain it?
I want to have the usmc honorguard us navy and us pilot skins seperately. and id like to know which maps they'd appear in if i use them for other mods.
Taking a skin will not change anything, besides - only the USMC skin is new, US Navy sailor and pilot are taken from regular WaW. If you would just take the USMC skin and put it in your game it would appear in one mission only, "Semper Fi", since it was made for the Marine Raider model. And the US Navy only appears in "Black Cats" in the normal game. In order to have these marines, sailors and pilots in different missions one would have to make a new mod since character models in WaW are assigned to missions (mostly).
I do not want the skins in every single mission. Just please tell me what to do to get the skins seperately.
at least please tell me how to have the usmc honorguard skins seperately
The USMC Honor Guard skin is located in the "Axis_Player_-_Expanded_Edition_v._1.3.iwd" file, inside the "images" folder - the name of the skin is "char_raider_c.iwi". It applies only to the Marine Raider model from the first mission, "Semper Fi". If you want to use it somewhere else please mention that it comes from this mod made by me.
The skins for the US Navy sailor and pilot are located in the game files, namely in the "iw_01.iwi" file in the "main" folder. The names of the skins are "char_navy_wet_c.iwi" for the sailor and "char_pbycrew_c.iwi" for the pilot.
The skins alone will not give you an option of using the character models in various missions. I think you are confusing skins with models. Skins are textures, models are, well, models - characters in this case.
hi, i found char raider but not navy and pby
do i need to put any of these skins a seperate folder called images
Yes, skins need to be inside the "images" folder.
thanks, do i need to rename any of them?
I don't think so, that might cause them to not work correctly.
This look better as **** but Castle mission look like Japanese relaunch assault on shiuri Castle after original final mission Lol
Thank you. "Breaking Point" mission in my mod takes place on June 23, 1945 - the Japanese forces retake Shuri Castle from the American hands (it is the last bastion of American defense on Okinawa).
