ATTENTION! THIS MOD IS NOT SUPPOSED TO PROMOTE ANY IDEOLOGY! | This is the newest version of the Axis Player mod for Call of Duty: World at War. The idea of the mod is to change all Allied forces (Americans and Russians) into Axis forces (Germans and Japanese) and vice versa in order to reverse the campaign. I would like to point out that I was not able to change everything, I may patch the mod again in the future. I hope everyone can understand that and still have some fun. It was tested in single-player, co-op and zombies and all game modes work - the crashes were rare, it should work just fine in most cases. Thank you for your opinion. Some of these new skins are still WIP, I wanted to post some content to see what people think. While the NKVD Honor Guard is, of course, fictional I will edit these skins to remove the Soviet stars.

Well, NKVD troops are real, that is true, but in this mod it is sort of a parody of Treyarch's "SS Honor Guard" (which is not very correct). The shoulder straps, hmm - what I found online looked like this (some examples):

They look very similar to regular Soviet troops of that era, that is why I decided to give them different shoulder straps and pants to make them at least a little bit different from regular troops (since the models are the same).

Thank you. "Rebirth" ("Downfall" in the original game) mission in my mod takes place on May 2, 1945 - the German forces retake the Reichstag from the Russian hands (it is the last bastion of Russian defense in Berlin).
Suggestions(this is not a demand, just sharing ideas): for Seelow heights and beyong, could you maybe add some soviet paratroops, some soviet marines, soviet shock troops, tankers without tanks(like they operate like a regular infantry), siberian soldiers(would be cool if they keep their white winter jackers), and maybe even spice it all off with some russian partisans. This would give the russias a bit more "United under desparation" feeling that the "Fall of Berlin" mod gave by blending historcal accuracy(this doesnt imply that you have to be historical accurate, just be creative with your work), thanks
