ATTENTION! THIS MOD IS NOT SUPPOSED TO PROMOTE ANY IDEOLOGY! | This is the newest version of the Axis Player mod for Call of Duty: World at War. The idea of the mod is to change all Allied forces (Americans and Russians) into Axis forces (Germans and Japanese) and vice versa in order to reverse the campaign. I would like to point out that I was not able to change everything, I may patch the mod again in the future. I hope everyone can understand that and still have some fun. It was tested in single-player, co-op and zombies and all game modes work - the crashes were rare, it should work just fine in most cases. Please check out the 'Special thanks to' section as well to see all the wonderful people that helped me! | ATTENTION! It is possible to get a multiplayer ban for using the modified binaries - thanks to CptWesley for the info.
This is a presentation of a so-called 'YouTube addon', which removes swastikas from all German flags (there are not many of them, there is one in 'Eviction', one in 'Heart of the Reich' and two in 'Rebirth' - former 'Downfall') and replaces them with a YouTube symbol (just to make fun of such censorship). The swastikas (as well as SS symbols) are still present on German uniforms, but they are very small, so I am not sure if that will be a problem. This addon is, of course, optional, with YouTubers in mind - the regular version of the mod uses historical German flags.
And just to remind you, because some people seem not to understand that: this mod is apolitical and is not supposed to promote any ideology. It is simply a continuation of previous German (or Axis) mods that change playable sides in single-player Call of Duty campaigns.
Mod version: 1.4 (current)
XD
xdddd
But that's not the flag in the game, is it?
No, only if you enable the addon, the regular mod uses a historical German flag from that era.
Hi. How do you enable the addon? Could you give me precise instructions?
You literally enable the 'APEE 1.4 YT Addon' from the 'Mods' tab in the game, the same way you would enable the regular mod. I don't think it's that hard. Please stop asking this question.
