Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.
The SS Douglass narrowly evades a Romulan barrage after detecting a Romulan warship attempting to stealthily approach the human settlement in the Alpha Centauri system.
Via deft piloting, the smaller Franklin-class vessel is able to keep the Romulans occupied until the arrival of the SS Asteria, forcing the Romulans into a retreat.
In the following days, the Douglass' helmsman is promoted to Lieutenant and presented with a commendation in recognition of her skill and bravery in the face of the enemy. Michelle Garrett's descendants would carry on her legacy of quick-witted courage and tenacity, and would go on to achieve great things in Starfleet's future.
A legacy that ends in 2344 with a starship named...Enterprise.
